New Press Releases

(Grants Pass, Oregon)--Fire Mountain Gems and Beads®, America's Favorite Beading and Jewelry Supply Company®, announces the arrival of new color and shape innovations from SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS for Fall/Winter 2010-11. Fire Mountain Gems and Beads is one of the first suppliers in the United States to receive the SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS color and product innovations for the jewelry-making industry.

Be the first to offer the following new color and shape innovations, along with many line additions (sizes and colors) in other popular shapes.

Color Innovations:

Cyclamen Opal
Named after the gorgeous cyclamen plant, SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS cyclamen opal combines glistening berry and fuchsia hues with a soft, underlying opalescence. A spectacular color-play of amethyst purple and baby pink shades accented with a flash of blue and yellow, creating a mesmerizing effect.

Greige
SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS greige is a perfect combination of grey and beige, offering a crystal color slightly darker than the popular crystal silver shade, yet lighter than the black diamond crystal bead. The smoky, subtle color has just enough luminescence for brilliant jewelry designs.

Crystal Metallic Light Gold
Crystal metallic light gold 2X is a rich, metallic effect that covers the entire crystal bead. The earthy, mineral-like tones include an opulent gold glinting with a dark titanium hue. As a warm metallic tone, SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS crystal metallic light gold 2X combines seamlessly with both gold and silver metals.

Crystal Coral Pearl
SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS coral pearl is a beautiful match to genuine salmon coral. The intense, on-trend color brings a high-fashion, vintage look from the 1960s and '70s to modern jewelry designs. The retro-inspired crystal coral pearl complements a wide range of colors and gemstones including turquoise, peridot and cobalt blue colors.

Combining a crystal core with an innovative pearl-like "nacre" coating, SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS pearls have a flawless surface and perfect curves that warm to the skin just like fine South Seas pearls. Swarovski crystal pearls are resistant to UV rays and perfumes for long-wearing, heirloom-quality jewelry.

Shape Innovations:

Chessboard Bead (5005)
The chessboard bead has a perfectly round shape with square facets that take you back to the disco days. SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS chessboard beads have an incredible flash and a brilliant play of colors.

Fish Bead (5727)
SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS fish bead features the brilliant rivoli cut in its center, creating a fantastic light reflection. Designed as a fish at first glance, the crystal bead can be transformed into a freshly bloomed tulip when strung in the opposite direction. Beveled hole prevents thread and beading wire from fraying.

Fish Pendant (6727)
The playful fish pendant by SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS has an incredibly high brilliance due to its complex cut. The center of the pendant features the popular rivoli faceting for added light reflection. Beveled hole prevents thread and beading wire from fraying.

Divine Rock Flat Fancy Stone (4787)
SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS divine rock crystal fancy stone was developed in collaboration with Versace, a famous Italian design house. The divine rock highlights the precision-cut beauty of organically shaped crystals. A combination of matte and sparkling facets in an asymmetrical shape. The fancy stone has a flat, mirrored back for added light reflection.

Navette Pendant (6110)
SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS navette pendant was inspired by famous fine jewelry cuts and stained-glass imagery. Long, angled facets along the tips are balanced by smaller, diamond-shaped facets across the center to create the spectacular play of light. An ideal centerpiece for crystal necklaces and earrings. Beveled holes prevent thread and beading wire from fraying.

Divine Rock Pendant (6191)
SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS divine rock crystal pendant was developed in collaboration with Versace, a famous Italian design house. The divine rock highlights the precision-cut beauty of organically shaped crystals. A combination of matte and sparkling facets in an asymmetrical shape. Beveled holes prevent thread and beading wire from fraying.

Divine Rock Sew-on (3257)
Divine rock crystal sew-on component was developed in collaboration with Versace, a famous Italian design house. The divine rock highlights the precision-cut beauty of organically shaped crystals. A combination of matte and sparkling facets in an asymmetrical shape. Beveled holes prevent thread and beading wire from fraying. SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS sew-on components have smooth, flat backs for added light reflection.

Pendular Lochrose (3500)
Pendular lochrose crystal sew-on drops from SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS have large, asymmetrical facets and a smooth flat back. Top, centered hole and a recessed channel with smooth beveled edges prevent thread and beading wire from fraying.
