Topics: Making Faux Ivory with Kato Polyclay™

Q.
I love the thought of using Kato Clay to make materials that are no longer available. How do you make ivory using the clay? And do you have any ideas what to do with the ivory clay once it's made?

A.
There are many imitative recipes--ivory is a long-standing favorite! Kim Cavender shared her recipe, as well as a design which uses the ivory once you've made it in ''Double-Strand Bracelet with Kato Polyclay Bead, Antiqued Bone Beads and Turquoise Gemstone Beads'' illustrated instructions.
