I have some flat round stones that are pink with yellowish green inclusion. My bead store had them marked as Rhyolite but I can't find pictures of that stone that support that.

Rhyolite gemstones are typically a mix of green, cream and brown colors. The stone that you are describing sounds more like a Rhodonite, which is primarily pink with darker color inclusions.
