I bought some flex wire and am not sure how to tie the knot when I'm finished. What is the best way to tie the knot so that it stays tied?
- Michelle
The surgeon's knot with an added drop of E-6000® Jewelry and Craft Adhesive is the most secure way to tie flex wire. While Accu-Flex® beading wire is flexible enough to be knotted, the best way to finish jewelry strung on wire is to use crimp beads or crimp tubes with loops, because they will give you the most secure finish.

There are multiple ways of finishing the end with the wire hidden:
  • The Accu-Guard™ wire protectors will protect the wire from abrading as it passes over the loop on your clasp
  • French wire which covers the exposed wire as it loops through the loop on the clasp
