Q.
I find crimp covers are locking into each other while in storage, what is the best way to separate them?
- Elaine
A.
Sometimes they will separate if you gently drop the crimp covers onto your work space. For the more clingy pairs, grasp one interlocked crimp cover with a pair of tweezers, such as the beading tweezers that lock, and lock the tweezers closed so the crimp cover is held stable. Grasp the other interlocked crimp cover with another pair of standard tweezers or pliers and gently slide the two apart. Be careful not to pull too hard with metal tools so as not to scratch the crimp cover surfaces.
