Q.
I made a very simple necklace using the rivoli's set in the cups with loops on both ends; I then added them to a chain and they are about 2.5 inches apart. The problem is they won't stay face up. any suggestions?

A.
Whenever you use a single strand of chain with embellishments, both the chain and embellishment will have movement and you can have problems with the rivoli components flipping over. Try using two strands of chain with small spacer bars, links or stiff wires between the chains and rivolis to keep them all in place. This technique may change the look of the design but should keep things facing the way you want them to.
