Q.
How do you use spring coils? I often see them in men's jewelry.
- Kathleen
A.
Spring or cord coils are used to finish the ends of the types of cording often found in men's jewelry designs (bracelets and necklaces). These cords include rubber, leather and suede. Cord coils are offered in a variety of metal finishes, lengths and diameters to blend with the styles of men's jewelry designs and to work with different sizes and types cording.

A two-part epoxy is a good adhesive to secure the cord in the cord coil. A pair of pliers will close down the opening of the cord coil onto the cord for a solid connection.
