Q.
How do you care for silver (not real) coated acrylic beads. I had someone use CLR, which discolored the beads. I guess I need to provide instructions but I'm not sure what would be the best way to clean them, or is there some way I can coat them to provide extra protection. Thanks.

Clean these beads using a damp, soft cloth. Avoid any cleaning products as this may damage the light metallic coating and/or cause discoloration. Be sure to dry completely before storing.

If extra protection is desired, use DesignaSeal as a top coat. This product will seal the beads so they can be safely cleaned with a damp cloth without affecting the metallic coating. To help keep the holes clean, string the beads onto a piece of stiff wire, pipe cleaner or like item, then use a paintbrush to apply a thin coat of DesignaSeal to all areas. Let dry. DesignaSeal is dry to the touch in approximately 15 minutes and if desired, a second coat can be added after approximately 45 minutes. A full drying time of 24 hours is recommended.
