Topics: Metal Beads, Cleaning and Polishing
I have some zinc alloy metal beads, and I don't know what the best way to polish them would be. Could you give me any instructions, please?- Judy
If the zinc-alloy beads, also known as "pewter," are not plated, you can clean them using a variety of methods including polishing cloths, ultra-sonic cleaners, steam cleaners, liquid cleaners and tumblers. If the pewter beads are plated or finished, use care in cleaning as polishing and other methods can damage the plating. Jewel Brite™ liquid cleaner is safe for plated beads and jewelry.
