Q.
I am making a wrap bracelet, but ran out of thread and not even quite half way through. How do I add more thread, and also is it necessary to double my thread? I find it so hard to work with the super long pieces. Thanks so much! I love your website!

Q.
I used silk thread to wrap around a metal triangle with an open center that I want to use as my focal component in a necklace design. The wrapping turned out really nice, but I don't know how to cleanly finish it without a knot showing. Any ideas? Thanks,

Q.
I want to repair a floating necklace. The person who wears this necklace told me that she had someone try and repair it previously and now the three lengths are uneven and the pendants used (CZ set in a square setting) flip where you can only see the back of the pendant. Also the wire it is strung on is somewhat crimped. Can you give me some idea how to properly fix her floating necklace? Thanks.

Q.
I actually have 2 questions. MANY years ago one of my daughters made a pendant for her grandmother, round, with her stone in the middle and children and grandchildren around it. I can't find something like this to make, but what I would like to make, if logical, is a cross with my stone in the middle and then children and grandchildren within the cross and perhaps a chain of the birthstones of the greats. Have to say I have 8 children, 20 grands and 24+ greats so far. The chain effect would allow me to keep adding to it. Is it cost or logistic prohibitive to do such a thing? Thank you for an answer.

What is the easiest way to polish cast resin to a high gloss after it has been released from its mold? I've heard you can use a tumbler. Will this change the shape of the pieces? If you can tumble polish resin, how do you do this and what is the best grit or shot to add to the tumbler?

Q.
I wanted to restring a knotted necklace I'd made when I was first learning. But, when I tried to take the stones off the nylon cord, the knot slipped inside the stone and got stuck. Are there any tips to get the knot out? I don't have replacements for these stones.
