Announcing the winners of the 2011 Fire Mountain Gems and Beads Seed Beads, Glass or Acrylic Jewelry-Making Contest! Congratulations to Ezartesa who received the Grand Prize Gold Medal for her exquisite necklace Reef. Inspired by the underwater world, the necklace was designed with incredible seed bead work, on both the front and back of the piece.

Congratulations to Melissa Grakowsky, the Grand Prize Gold Medal Winner of the 2010 Fire Mountain Gems and Beads Jewelry-Making Contest Featuring Pearls, Organic Beads or Molding Clay. The stunning necklace, titled Cultivation, is a cascading bib-style necklace made of exquisitely handcrafted polymer clay roses and cultured freshwater pearls. Cultivation was chosen for its incredible polymer clay workmanship, attention to detail and skilled use of a variety of contest materials.
