Step 1
Cut one 3-inch section of figure 8 chain.
- Fold chain in half, making sure the center of chain has a large loop, and the two loops at the bottom are large.
Step 2
Cut one section of 22 gauge wire to measure 1-1/2-inches.
- Form an eyepin loop. (Step 3)
Step 3
To make an eyepin loop:
- With the bent-nose pliers, bend a right angle at the top of the wire.
- Measure to make sure the wire is 5/16-inch where the angle begins. Trim the wire with the wire nippers if necessary.
- Form an eyepin loop by rolling the wire toward the center with rosary pliers.
Step 4
String the beads on the wire (Step 2) in the following order: One Gold-Filled faceted bead, one 3mm diamond crystal, one 4mm round crystal, one Gold-Filled faceted bead, one 4mm round crystal, one 3mm diamond crystal, and one Gold-Filled faceted bead.
- Form a second eyepin loop. (Step 3)
- Attach one loop to the earwire.
- Attach second loop to the center large loop of the chain. (Step 1)
Step 5
Cut a 1-3/4-inch section of wire.
- Form an eyepin loop at one end of the wire. (Step 3)
- Bend wire slightly.
- String the beads on the wire in the following order: One 3mm diamond crystal, one 4mm round crystal, one 3mm diamond crystal, one Gold-Filled faceted bead, one 3mm diamond crystal, one 4 mm round crystal, one 3mm diamond crystal, one Gold-Filled faceted bead, one 3mm diamond crystal, one 4mm round crystal, and one 3mm diamond crystal.
- Form a second eyepin loop. (Step 3)
- Attach both eyepin loops to the bottom loops of chain. (Step 1)
Step 6
The first row of dangles.
- Cut four 1-inch sections of wire.
- Form an eyepin loop at one end. (Step 3)
- String two 3mm diamond crystals on each wire.
- Form a second eyepin loop on each dangle.
- Attach the dangles to the wire. (Step 5)
Step 7
Cut about 2 inches of chain. Attach the dangles (Step 6) to the large loops of the chain.
- The 1st dangle connects to the 1st loop in the chain; skip 3 large loops of chain.
- The 2nd dangle connects to the 4th loop; skip 5 large loops.
- The 3rd dangle connects to the 6th loop; skip 3 large loops.
- Attach the fourth dangle in the 4th loop. This will be the last loop, so clip the chain flush.
Step 8
The second row of dangles.
- Thread one 4mm crystal and one 3mm crystal on 4 headpins.
- Form an eyepin loop on each of these. (Step 3)
- Attach each dangle to bottom loops of the first row of dangles. (Step 6)
Step 9
The third row of dangles.
- Thread one 4mm crystal and one 3mm crystal on 3 headpins.
- Form an eyepin loop on each of these. (Step 3)
- Attach these dangles in the center large chain loops created by Step 8.
Step 10
The center 3-part dangle.
- Cut a one-inch section of chain. There must be one large chain loop at the top and bottom.
- Attach the top chain loop to the bottom eyepin loop. (Step 4)
- String one 4mm crystal and one 3mm crystal onto a headpin.
- Form an eyepin loop. (Step 3)
- Attach the eyepin loop to the bottom loop of the chain.
