Large Ring

Step 1

Open an oval jumpring and link it through one link at one end of a five-foot length of chain and one of the loops on the ring of the bead frame; close the jumpring. Measure 4-1/2 inches of chain and, skipping eight loops, attach the link to the ninth loop with an oval jumpring. Continue around the ring, attaching the chain to every ninth loop, to make a swag.

Step 2

Repeat Step 1 with another length of chain, attaching the links to the fourth loop from each jumpring in the previous step. The spaces between the jumprings should alternate with the three loops in one space and four loops in the next space. If you do not have an even number of loops, adjust your swags accordingly.

Step 3

Cut nine pieces of chain, four links in length. Using the oval jumprings, attach each end of these lengths to the center two loops in the four-loop sections using the oval jumprings.

Step 4

Using 12mm jumprings, attach one 18mm crystal heart to each of the four link-loops of chain, attaching 10 in all.

Using 12mm jumprings, attach one 18mm Siam heart to the center loop of the three-loop sections, attaching 13 in all.

Step 5

Place one of the 8mm Siam bicones onto an eyepin and make a simple loop* to create a double-looped component. Repeat to create three double-looped components using 6mm Siam AB bicones. Repeat to create four double-looped components using 6mm crystal AB bicones.

Starting with an 8mm Siam bicone double-looped component, open the loop on one end and link it through the loop on a 6mm crystal double-looped component; close the loop. Repeat linking double-looped components to create a chain that begins and ends with an 8mm Siam bicone double-looped component.

Step 6

Attach the loop of one end of an 8mm Siam bicone to one of the loops on either side of the four link length of chain in the four-loop section. Skipping the section with the 18mm Siam heart crystal, attach the other end of the crystal chain to the first loop in the next four-link chain section. Continue this step all the way around the ring.

Medium Ring

Step 7

Repeat Steps 1 thru 6 from the large ring instructions using the 14mm faceted hearts.

Small Ring

Step 8

Open an oval jumpring and linkit through the first link on a new length of chain and through any loop on the ring; close the jumpring. Measure 3-3/4 inches of chain, then slip on an open oval jumpring and the fourth loop in the ring; close the jumpring. Repeat all the way around the ring, alternating the loops.

Step 9

Using an oval jumpring, attach a new length of chain to the center loop of the first chain. Repeat all the way around the ring.

Step 10

Place an 8mm Siam bicone onto an eyepin and make a simple loop. Repeat to create two 8mm Siam bicone double-looped components. Repeat to create two double-looped components using the 6mm Siam AB bicones. Repeat to create three double-looped components using the 6mm crystal AB bicones.

Starting with an 8mm Siam bicone double-looped component, open the loop on one end and link it through the loop on a 6mm crystal doublelooped component; close the loop. Repeat linking double-loop components to create a chain that begins and ends with an 8mm Siam bicone double-looped component.

Step 11

Attach the loop of one end of the linked chain to one of the empty loops on the ring between the jumprings, and attach the last round of chain. Attach the other end to the next loop, so that the crystal chain hangs in the same place as the last round of chain. The crystals will hang a little shorter, allowing them to lie inside the chain.

Smallest Ring

Step 12

Cut 10 lengths of chain 3-1/2 inches long, 10 lengths of chain 3-inches long and 10 lengths of chain 2-1/2 inches long. Open an oval jumpring. Place the last link from one of each length of chain onto the open jumpring. Connect the jumpring to a loop on the smallest ring; close the jumpring.

Skip one of the loops and attach another group of chain. Repeat around the ring.

Step 13

Place one 4mm crystal AB bicone and one 8mm Siam bicone onto a headpin and make a simple loop to create a dangle. Repeat to make 10 dangles. Place one of the 6mm Siam AB bicones onto an eyepin and make a simple loop to create a double-looped component. Repeat to create 20 double-looped components with 6mm Siam AB bicones.

Repeat to create 20 double-looped components using 6mm crystal AB bicones.

Starting with an 8mm Siam bicone dangle, open the loop and link it through the loop on a 6mm crystal AB double-looped component; close the loop. Open the loop on the other end of the 6mm crystal AB double-looped component and connect it to a 6mm Siam AB component. Repeat until you have a crystal chain that has two of each, 6mm Siam and crystal AB double-looped components; end with a second dangle.

Repeat to create a total of 5 crystal chains.

Step 14

Attach the first loop of each crystal chain to the empty loops on the ring to create alternating chain groups.

Step 15

Place three 14mm crystal AB hearts onto 12mm jumprings and attach them to three of the longest lengths of chain in any of the groups.

Step 16

Place three 12mm Siam hearts onto the 12mm jumprings and attach them to three of the middle lengths of chain in any of the groups that do not have the crystal AB hearts.

Step 17

Place one 18mm Siam heart onto a 12mm jumpring and attach it to the shortest length of chain in one of the groups that does not have a heart attached. Some chain groups will contain hearts and some won't.

Center Crystal Chain

Step 18

Place an 8mm Siam bicone onto an eyepin and make a simple loop to create a double-looped component. Repeat to make eight double-looped components. Repeat to create 8 double-looped components using 8mm crystal AB bicones.

Link the double-looped components together, alternating the two colors. At the bottom of the linked chain, using a 12mm jumpring, attach one 18mm Siam heart.

Step 19

Attach one of the 7mm jumprings to the first link in each of the chains attached to the hanging hook. Connect these three together with another 7mm jumpring and hang the crystal chain from the jumpring so that it dangles through the center of the tiers.

Bottom Crystal Chain

Step 20

Repeat Step 18 using four of the 8mm Siam bicones and four of the crystal AB bicones and attach an 18mm Siam heart at the bottom of the linked chain.

Step 21

Cut three pieces of chain, seven links long. Open one oval jumpring and link it through one link of one section of chain and the last link on one section of chain that connects the small and smallest rings together. Open a 7mm jumpring and pass it through the last link of chain (on the other end of the three lengths just added), bringing them all together in the middle of the smallest ring.

Step 22

Attach the linked chain with a jumpring so that it's suspended from the center of the smallest ring, through the middle of the linked chains on the bottom ring.

Step 23

Using a 12mm jumpring, attach an 18mm crystal AB heart to the center jumpring at the top of the crystal chain.
