Additional Materials
Nymo® beading thread FireLine® beading thread Seed beads Beading needles Beeswax
Step 1
Cut a piece of thread (Nymo® or FireLine™) to a comfortable length for you to work with. The longer your thread, the farther you can work before you will have to add thread. Add a stop bead to the end of the thread the farthest away from the needle, leaving a 6-inch tail.
Almost double your thread to make it easier to work with, but do leave a tail so you are working with only one thread.
Please Note: You will need to use 3 different seed beads for this stitch so you can see the pattern form. The main color is A, which will be the flower color. The second color is B, which will be the center of each flower. The third color is C, which will be the leaf color.

Step 2
Pick up eight A beads and pass the needle through all eight beads again, forming a loop. Pass through the first bead one more time.
Step 3
Pick up one B bead and three A beads then pass the needle through the first and second bead on the loop. You will now have the B bead sitting in between the two A beads.
Step 4
Pick up three A beads and pass the needle through the first A bead next to the B bead. You now have a completed flower with the B bead inside the A beads.
Step 5
Pick up one C bead, two A beads and one C bead, then pass the needle through the two A beads from the flower, and one C bead and one A bead from the ones you just added. This is called the leaf design. You are now set up to continue in the pattern with the next flower.
