Step 1
 |  | Using ladderstitch, weave 1 Czech Jablonex seed bead, 3 Matsuno 11's and one Czech Jablonex seed bead.
The 2 beads at each end must be smaller than the 3 in the middle. You could try using size 8/0 and 6/0. |
Step 2
 | | Brickstitch means you attach your beads to the thread used in the previous row, not to the beads themselves. SKIP the first thread on this side of your work. |
Step 3
 | | Add the same beads to the base you just made, ie. 1 Czech, 3 Matsuno and 1 Czech.
Note: It is important to pull tight when adding beads on both end-sides of the work. If you do not pull tight on each side when adding the Czech seed beads, the ribbon will not curl. |
Step 4
 | | On your way back, DO NOT SKIP the first thread. |
Step 5
Continue until you reach the desired length.

Finishing Touch
Step 6
At each side of the ribbon, make diminutions as shown. There will be only two Czech seed beads left at each end.
Step 7
 | | Attached the extremity of the ribbon to a matsuno bead in the middle of the ribbon adding one 12mm Swarovski crystal pearl on one side, and making an empty loop on the other size of the work, wide enough for letting the part with the crystal pearl pass through. |
