 Using the Brooch Converter 

Open the pin. Line it up with the tube on the back side of the brooch converter.

Slide the pin completely into the tube of the converter. A small length of the pin should be protruding from the tube on the converter.

Place the pin down into the pin back lock, and lock the pin in place. The brooch is now ready to be used as a focal piece on a necklace. Instructions are the same for the Horizontal Brooch Converter which is designed to convert a brooch laid out in a horizontal format.
