 Forming a Split Ring Loop

Step 1
Place your round-nose pliers on the end of a length of wire. Please note: the length of wire can be the wire above a bead on a headpin, on the end of a length of wire, or any configuration your design dictates. Rotate the pliers to form a loop.
Step 2
Keep the pliers in the loop and turn them again, forming a second loop right next to the first. Adjust the position of the pliers as the second loop is formed so the loops are equal in size, like a key ring or split ring.
