    End of Materials List

    Cabochons

    Step 1

    Figure 1

Glue A, B to fabric. Let the glue dry. Sew one row in even number of N (Fig. 1). When the row is finished go through all the beads one more time, pulling tightly the thread.
    Step 2

    Figure 2

Work the bezel in circular peyote stitch, using N. Work the last row in J (Fig. 2). The number of the rows depends on the thickness of your cabochon. Run through all the beads more than once, pulling the thread tightly. Sew one row in K around the beaded cabochon (Fig. 1). Repeatedly run through all the beads and pull the thread taut.
    Step 3

    Figure 3

Trim away all the excess fabric as close to the edge beads as possible. Glue leather to the back side. Let the glue dry. Trim away all the excess fabric. Work the basic edge row in P (Fig. 3).

    Side Cabochons A

    Step 1

    Figure 4

Embroider the basic edge row in Q, J (Fig. 4).
    Step 2
Then work the arcs in peyote stitch on each side of the cabochon. Begin to bead the central leaf in peyote stitch on the seventh bead of the basic row (see numbering on Figure 5). The basic row of the leaf is consisting of 34 O. Then work one row in O, one row in P and one row in Q.
    Step 3

    Figure 5

Tie off the thread tail and bring it to the ninth bead of the basic row. Work the basic row in 17 O. Fix it onto Q of the previous leaf (Fig. 5). Work the arc in the same way, working one row in O, one row in P and one row in Q.
    Step 4
Then bring the thread to the eleventh bead. Pick up 17 O and fix it onto Q of the previous arc (Fig. 5). Work the arc in the same way, working one row in O, one row in P and one row in Q.
    Step 5
Work the same symmetrically on the opposite side, start beading the arcs from the third and the first bead of the basic row.
    Step 6
Then work two arcs, using J, M, Q (Fig. 6). Attach the bead to the second, the sixth and the tenth bead of the basic row. Attach the arcs between two edge arcs of the previous motif on the one side and to the middle part of the central leaf through E on the other side. Begin to bead the arcs from the second or from the tenth bead. Work I to the last row, connecting the arcs with the top of the central leaf (Fig. 6).
    Step 7

    Figure 6

Bead the same motif on the opposite side of the motif (Fig. 5, 6).
    Step 8

    Figure 7

Find the center bead (one or two, it depends on the total number of seed beads of the basic row) onto free part of the cabochon and attach I to it (Fig. 7). Work the arcs in peyote stitch, using O, P, Q (Fig. 7).
    Step 9
    Work the arc, using J, Q, M (Fig. 8).
    Step 10

    Figure 8

Work symmetrically on the other side of A cabochon.

    A Central Cabochon

    Step 1
Fix 2 I onto the beads of the basic edge row of the beaded cabochon (Fig. 9). Work motifs in the same way on each side of the beads (Fig. 5, 6). Pick up 42 O for the central leaf. Pick up 21 O and 21 J for the arcs. Note that the central leaf attached to the fifth and to the eighth bead of the basic row.
    Step 2
Work two arcs at the bottom part of cabochon, stringing 21 J for each arc (Fig. 6).
    Step 3

    Figure 9

Bead the arc in 23 O under these arcs (Fig. 9).

    Cabochon B

    Step 1
Bead the motif at the bottom part of the cabochon (Fig. 5, 6). Pick up 42 O for the central leaf. Pick up 21 O and 21 J for the arcs. Note that the central leaf attached to the fifth and to the eighth bead of the basic row (Fig. 10).
    Step 2
Miss three seed beads of the basic edge row on each side of the motif. Begin to bead the arc in 15 O on the fourth bead (Fig. 10). Attach the second end of the arc, missing one seed bead of the basic row.
    Step 3
Tie off the thread tail and bring it to the fifth Q through the seed beads of the last row of the arc. Pick up 21 O for the second arc. Attach the end of the second arc to the fourth seed beads of the basic row. Work one row in O, one row in P and one row in Q to each arc.
    Step 4

    Figure 10

Tie off the thread tail and bring it through the beads of the last row of the first arc to the second Q. Pick up 29 O for the third arc and attach the second end to the center bead of the basic edge row under the second arc (Fig. 10). Work one row in O, one row in P and one row in Q onto the beads of the basic row of the third arc.

    Rivolis

    Step 1

    Figure 11

Beading around the rivoli. Take a 1.5m length of thread and pick up 36 N and slide them down to the middle of the thread. Close the beads into a circle and go through all the beads one more time. Then bead in circular peyote stitch, using N, J (Fig. 11). Go through the last row more than once, pulling tightly the thread. Tie off the thread tail but do not cut it off.
    Step 2

    Figure 12

Pick up leaving thread tail and work two rows in N, insert the rivoli top side down and work four rows in J (Fig. 12). Tie off the thread tail and cut it off.
    Step 3

    Figure 13

    Embroider two of the rivolis, using N, O, J, I, H (Fig. 13).
    Step 4

    Figure 14

    Embroider three rivolis, using N, J, H, F (Fig. 14).

    Assembling

    Step 1
Make the composition, using the photograph as a guide. Connect the link parts of the details, using Q, D, E, G.
    Step 2

    Figure 15

Bead four leaves on each side of the necklace (Fig. 15). Bead each next leaf onto the previously one. Pick up 1 P, 2 Q, 1 O, 1 E, 1 O, 1 I, 1 Q to the middle of each leaf.
    Step 3
Work 1cm loops in O on the tops of the edge leaves of the ropes. Attach a clasp to these loops, using metal rings.
