Venetian Bead - (also called Murano glass) A glass bead created in the style of the glass artists of Venice, primarily on the island of Murano. Venetian glass beads are famous the world over for their color, craftsmanship and exceptional quality. Many glassworking techniques still in use today were created or raised to extraordinary levels in Venice, such as caneworking, chevron glass, millefiori glass and more.

Vitrail - Vitrail is a translucent color-coating effect that is vacuum sealed onto the reverse side of glass and crystal beads. Named for the French word that translates as 'stained glass' in English, the vitrail effect shines through the transparent material. Depending on the viewing angle and lighting conditions, a kaleidoscope of color flashes can appear.
