Multi-Strand Necklace with Turquoise Cabochons, Turquoise Gemstone Beads and Sterling Silver Beads

Gold Medal Grand Prize Winner
Multi-Strand Necklace with Turquoise Cabochons, Turquoise Gemstone Beads and Sterling Silver Beads
Mimicking the high-collared gemstone necklace thought to have adorned the High Priestess in ancient times, the incredible combination of sterling silver and turquoise is every bit as powerful as its history implies. Weighing almost 6 pounds, it is comprised of 43 turquoise ellipse beads and countless sterling spacers and twist tubes. Stitched into Lacy's Stiff Stuff, the turquoise is wrapped with strands of silver strung on .014 diameter Accu-Flex® and anchored in place at varying intervals with a stitch of white Nymo beading thread. The handcrafted clasp is wrapped with 2mm seamless sterling silver rounds and fastens in back with a hidden handmade wire hook.
