Step 1
Using flush-cutters cut two 36-inch lengths of sapphire 28-gauge round Zebra Wire™.
Step 2
Using a pair of round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers and flush-cutters, wrap the straight end of a 36-inch length of wire five to six wraps around the earring hoop 1/2 inch under the hinge to secure the wire to the earring.
Step 3
String onto the beading wire:
- Three 4mm round iris purple fire-polished beads
- One 6mm round iris purple fire-polished bead
- One 8mm round iris purple fire-polished bead
- One 6mm round iris purple fire-polished bead
- Three 4mm round iris purple fire-polished beads
Step 4
Position the beads next to the outer edge of the earring hoop. Wrap the wire around the end of the earring hoop five to six times to secure it.
Step 5
Pass the wire back in the opposite direction going from the hoop to the wire between the first two 4mm round iris purple fire-polished beads in a right to left direction. Then pass the wire back over the hoop in a perpendicular direction. Continue to wrap the wire in the right to left direction to the next bead then in a perpendicular wrap until the wire is back on the opposite side of the earring hoop. Pass the wire back in the opposite direction angling the wire in a left to right direction until the wire is back at the other end of the earring hoop. Wrap the wire around the earring hoop four times.
Step 6
Repeat Steps 2 - 5 to create the second earring.
