Necklace

Step 1
Using laser scissors cut a paper design to fit the inside of a 40x30mm oval bezel.
Step 2
Place the paper inside the bezel. Place thirty-four amber chatons along the edge of the inside of the bezel cup.
Step 3
Mix the ICE Resin® per the manufacturer's instructions. Carefully pour the liquid into the bezel, trying not to disturb the parts you assembled. Pour until almost full. Let the liquid settle and see if you are happy with the height of the liquid. The liquid can spill over the edge, so be careful.

Tip: If you want a domed surface pour the liquid until the bezel is almost full then let it set for 5+ hours. Mix and pour a second layer. This layer will not only create a domed look to the finished design but also offer a magnified view.

Check the liquid for bubbles. Place a task light close to the bezel to help bring any bubbles to the surface. If any appear, use a toothpick to pop them as they reach the surface. Let the bezel sit undisturbed overnight.
Step 4
Place a thin layer of G-S Hypo cement adhesive on the textured flat pad of one leaf bail and on the back of the 40x30mm oval bezel at the top left edge. Press the flat pad of the bail onto the bezel. Repeat to attach the second bail on the upper right edge of the bezel. Let the adhesive set for 10 minutes. Make sure to use proper ventilation when using this product.
Step 5
Using flush-cutters cut two 8-inch lengths of sterling silver 19x10mm flat oval link chain.
Step 6
Using laser scissors cut six 14-inch lengths of light tan Nymo thread. String onto one length of thread, one J-shaped needle.
Step 7
Place #11 metallic gold seed beads into the Speedy Stringer bowl. Following maunfacturer directions for the Speedy Stringer, string six 14-inch strands of #11 metallic gold seed beads.
Step 8
Match up the ends of three lengths of beads and pass them through the hole on a bead tip. Tie an overhand knot on the end of the threads. Place a small amount of adhesive on the knot. Slide the bead tip over the knot and gently close the bead tip using chain-nose pliers. Push the beads up against the bead tip making sure there is no slack in the strands. Loosely braid the three strands of beads. Pass the opposite ends of the thread through a bead tip. Tie a loose overhand knot in the thread. Place a pair of tweezers inside the knot up against the bead tip and slide the knot down the tweezers to keep the strands of beads tight. Place a small amount of adhesive on the knot. Trim the thread at the knots. Close the bead tip.

Repeat to create a second braided three strand set of seed beads.
Step 9
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 5.5mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on the toggle ring portion of the clasp. Close the jumpring. Open a 5.5mm jumpring. Pass it through the last jumpring and the first link on an 8-inch length of sterling silver 19x10mm flat oval link chain. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to attach the last link of the chain to the left bail on the focal piece with one 5.5mm jumpring.

Repeat to attach the second length of chain to the toggle bar portion of the clasp and the right bail on the focal piece.
Step 10
Pass the loop of the bead tip on the first braided set of seed beads through the jumpring attached to the first link on the first 8-inch length of sterling silver 19x10mm flat oval link chain. Close the loop.

Loosely weave the braided seed bead strand through the links on the 8-inch length of sterling silver 19x10mm flat oval link chain, then pass the seed bead strand through the bail on the focal piece and back up to the second to last link on the chain. Pass the loop on the bead tip though the second to last link. Close the loop.

Repeat to attach the second braided set of seed beads to the opposite side of the necklace.

Earrings

Step 1
Using flush-cutters cut two 12-inch lengths of silver 28-gauge round wire.
Step 2
Using a pair of round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers and flush-cutters, wrap the straight end of a 12-inch length of wire around the top of the oval earring hoop 5mm under the top edge, four to five wraps to secure the wire to the earring.
Step 3
String onto the wire one Swarovski 3mm light topaz crystal positioning the bead on the outer edge of the hoop. Wrap the wire around the earring hoop two times. Continue to attach beads along the outer edge of the hoop with two wire wraps in between each bead in the following order:
