    Necklace Option One

    Charm One

    Step 1
Using tin snips, cut one 1x2-inch piece of jeweler’s bronze sheet.
    Step 2
Using a ball peen hammer, flatten the brass sheet. Use a file to remove burrs and roughness from the edge of the sheet.
    Step 3
Ink the rubber stamp with permanent ink and press the brass sheet onto the stamp. Allow the ink to dry.
    Step 4
Burnish a piece of masking tape to the back of the stamped brass sheet to prevent etchant solution from seeping under the tape.
    Step 5
Float the stamped brass sheet in a container of etchant solution suspending it from the container with the tape.
    Step 6
After a couple of hours remove the etched brass sheet from the solution and dip it into water. Pour a little baking soda over the etched brass sheet and rub gently to neutralize the solution. Wash well with soap and water.
    Step 7
Cut the etched brass sheet into a 1x1/2 inch sheet. Cut the edges of one end at an angle to taper the ends to look like a tag. Gently sand the edges to remove any sharp edges.

    Necklace Assembly

    Step 8
Punch one 1.2mm hole in the center of the taper edge starting 2mm in from edge.

Repeat to punch five 1.2mm holes along the bottom edge of one 47mm textured round focal piece 2mm up from the edge every 3mm.
    Step 9
Using flush-cutters cut the loop off two 16x15mm silver-plated bee charms.
    Step 10
Place a thin layer of Loctite® 409 Gel on the back of a 16x15mm silver-plated bee charm and a small amount on the front of the 47mm textured round focal piece where the bee is to be positioned. Press the bee onto the focal piece. Repeat to attach the second bee. Let the adhesive set for 24 hours. Make sure to use proper ventilation when using this product.
    Step 11
    Using flush-cutters, cut the following:
    • One 17-inch length of gold-plated 24mm and 31mm double link textured chain (starting and ending with three 24mm round links)
    • One 16-inch and one 19-inch length of gold-finished 5x3.5mm heavy cable chain (leave original clasp attached to one end of each strand)
    • One 17-inch length of gold-finished 1.5mm ball chain (leave original clasp attached to one end of the strand and moving the bead tip attached to the second end to the last ball at 17inches)
    • One 18-inch length of gold-finished 2mm Figaro chain (leave original clasp attached to one end of the strand)
    Step 12
Using flush-cutters, cut an 18-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String onto the wire one crimp tube. Pass the wire through the loop on a lobster claw clasp and back through the crimp tube, leaving one end of the wire approximately 1 inch long. Pull the crimp tight (not too tight) against the loop on the lobster claw clasp. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim the excess wire from the short end.

Place a 4mm gold-plated stardust crimp cover over the crimp tube then gently close it.
    Step 13
String onto the beading wire the following:
    • One gold-plated 6x2mm beaded rondelle
    • One 20mm faceted round amber yellow glass bead
    • One gold-plated 6x2mm beaded rondelle
    • Five Swarovski 8mm round luminous green crystals
    • One gold-plated 6x2mm beaded rondelle
    • One 10mm faceted round honey glass bead
    • One gold-plated 6x2mm beaded rondelle
    • Three sets of five Swarovski 8mm round luminous green crystals, one gold-plated 6x2mm beaded rondelle, one 8mm faceted round honey glass bead and one gold-plated 6x2mm beaded rondelle
    • Five Swarovski 8mm round luminous green crystals
    • One gold-plated 6x2mm beaded rondelle
    • One 10mm faceted round honey glass bead
    • One gold-plated 6x2mm beaded rondelle
    • Five Swarovski 8mm round luminous green crystals
    • One gold-plated 6x2mm beaded rondelle
    • One 20mm faceted round amber yellow glass bead
    • One gold-plated 6x2mm beaded rondelle
    Step 14
Place one crimp tube onto the beading wire after last bead. Pass the beading wire through the first 24mm link on the 17-inch length of gold-plated 24mm and 31mm double link textured chain and back through crimp, and then pull the wire snuggly so the crimp is closer to link. Make sure there is no slack along the length of the first part of the necklace. Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the end.

Place a 4mm gold-plated stardust crimp cover over the crimp tube then gently close it.
    Step 15
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open one antiqued gold-plated 8x5mm jumpring. Pass it though the last link on the 17-inch length of gold-plated 24mm and 31mm double link textured chain and the first punched hole on the bottom of the 47mm textured round focal piece. Close the jumpring.
    Step 16
Open an 8x5mm jumpring. Pass it through the last link on a 16-inch length of gold-finished 5x3.5mm heavy cable chain and the loop on a lobster claw clasp. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach a clasp to the last link of the four remaining lengths of chains.
    Step 17
Attach the chains to the first 24mm link on the 17-inch length of gold-plated 24mm and 31mm double link textured chain in order from shortest to longest. Repeat to attach the opposite ends of the chains to the punched holes on the bottom of the focal piece with the shortest chain starting in the fifth hole.
    Step 18
Open an 8x5mm jumpring. Pass it through the first 24mm link on the 17-inch length of gold-plated 24mm and 31mm double link textured chain and the hole on etched tag. Close the jumpring.
    Step 19
Open an 8x5mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on the back of the 47mm textured round focal piece. Close the jumpring. Attach the lobster claw clasp on the beaded portion of the necklace to the jumpring.

    Earrings

    Step 1
String one Swarovski 6mm round luminous green crystal onto a headpin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a 4mm wrapped loop on the straight end of a headpin creating a bead drop. Repeat to create eight 6mm round luminous green crystal bead drops and two 8mm faceted round honey glass bead drops.
    Step 2
Using flush-cutters, cut two 1-link (31mm) lengths of gold-plated 24mm and 31mm double link textured chain.
    Step 3
String onto a 31mm link two 6mm round luminous green crystal bead drops, one 8mm faceted round honey glass bead drop, two 6mm round luminous green crystal bead drops and the loop on one earwire.
    Step 4
Gently bend the 31mm link until the two ends match. Place a small amount of Loctite® 409 Gel on the opening to secure the link. Allow adhesive to dry.
    Step 5
Open the loop on the earwire and pass it through the loop on one 16x15mm silver-plated bee charm. Close the loop.
    Step 6
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to create the second earring.

    Necklace Option Two

    Step 1
Using flush-cutters cut one 1-link section and one 3-link section of 18x8mm gold-plated hammered marquise chain.

    Charm Two

    Step 2
Using tin snips, cut one 1x2-inch piece of jeweler’s bronze sheet.
    Step 3
Ink the rubber stamp with permanent ink and press the brass sheet onto the stamp so the lettering is at an angle. Allow the ink to dry.
    Step 4
Burnish a piece of masking tape to the back of the brass sheet to prevent etchant solution from seeping under the tape.
    Step 5
Float the brass sheet in a container of etchant solution suspending it from the container with the tape.
    Step 6
After a couple of hours remove the sheet from the solution and dip it into water. Pour a little baking soda over the brass sheet and rub gently to neutralize the solution. Wash well with soap and water.
    Step 7
Cut the etched brass sheet into a 3/4x5/8 inch sheet. Cut the edges of one end at an angle to taper the ends to look like a tag. Gently sand the edges to remove any sharp edges.
    Step 8
Punch one 1.2mm hole in the center of the taper edge starting 2mm in from edge.
    Step 9
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open one antiqued gold-plated 8x5mm jumpring. Pass it though the first link on the 3-link length of gold-plated 18x8mm hammered marquise chain and the punched hole on the bottom etched tag. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach the last link on the chain to the loop on a lobster claw clasp.

    Charm Three

    Step 10
Open an 8x5mm jumpring. Pass it through the link on a 1-link length of gold-plated 18x8mm hammered marquise chain and the loop on a lobster claw clasp. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach a bee drop to the link of chain.

    Charm Four

    Step 11
Open an 8x5mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on a lobster claw clasp and the loop on a bee drop. Close the jumpring.

To assemble alternate necklace, remove chains attached with lobster claw clasps and replace with charms two, three and four.
