Step 1
Mix Devcon Jeweler’s 5-minute Epoxy according to manufacturer’s instructions. Place a thin layer of adhesive on the entire back surface of the 75x23mm winged heart pendant. Press a 2-hole spacer into the epoxy with one hole exposed beyond the edge of the wing. Repeat to attach two more spacers above the wing, angling the spacers out and toward the tip of the wing. Attach a spacer next to the heart on the bottom of the wing positioned straight down. Attach three more spacers between the heart and the tip, evenly spaced, angled more toward the tip of the wing. Repeat to attach seven spacers in the same positions on the opposite wing. Place another thick layer of epoxy over the first layer for a more domed appearance. Make sure to use proper ventilation when using this product.
Step 2
Using flush-cutters cut the following:
  • Two 7-1/2 inch lengths and two 11-inch lengths of silver-finished 9x6mm Figaro chain
  • Two 2-inch lengths and two 3-inch lengths of silver-plated 5x3.5mm cable chain
  • Two 4-inch and two 6-inch lengths of 30-gauge silver-colored Zebra Wire™
  • Cut the chain from the top loops on the 75x23mm winged heart pendant necklace
Step 3
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 5.5mm jumpring. Pass it through the first loop on the hook portion of the clasp and the first link on a 7-1/2 inch length of silver-finished 9x6mm Figaro chain. Close the jumpring. Open a 5.5mm jumpring. Using the flush-cutters, cut one 18-inch length of red Silkon® thread. String onto the thread one crimp tube and a silver-plated Accu-Guard. Pass the Accu-Guard, with the thread, through the center hole on the hook portion of the clasp and pass the thread back through the crimp tube leaving one end of the thread approximately 1-inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the Accu-Guard and the loop. Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers crimp the crimp tube. Using laser scissors trim the excess thread from the short end.

Place a 4mm silver-plated stardust crimp cover over the crimp tube then gently close it.
