This jewelry set is a good example of bridge jewelry as it offers a combination of quality materials, such as turquoise gemstone beads and cultured freshwater pearls, in a design that showcases ...

Necklace

Step 1
Using flush-cutters cut one 57-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
Step 2
String onto the beading wire one 12Kt gold-filled 2x2mm crimp bead, one Accu-Guard™ wire protector and the loop on one antiqued brass-finished lobster claw clasp. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp bead. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite®) inside the crimp (optional).

Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead. Using flush-cutters trim the excess from the short end. Place one antiqued gold-plated 4mm crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
Step 3
String the following onto the beading wire:
  • Five Czech glass metallic gold #11 seed beads
  • Five turquoise 6x3mm rondelles
  • One Swarovski and gold-plated crystal AB 4x2mm rondelle
  • One cultured freshwater pearl gold coin
  • One Swarovski and gold-plated crystal AB 4x2mm rondelle
  • Five turquoise 6x3mm rondelles
Repeat this stringing sequence a total of twenty-seven times.
Step 4
Continue to string the following:
  • Five Czech glass metallic gold #11 seed beads
  • Five turquoise 6x3mm rondelles
Step 5
Repeat Step 2 to attach one antiqued gold-plated 8mm jumpring to finish the necklace.

Earrings

String the following onto one gold-plated 2-inch headpin:
  • One cultured freshwater pearl gold coin
  • One Swarovski and gold-plated crystal AB 4x2mm rondelle
  • One turquoise 6x3mm rondelle
  • One Czech glass metallic gold #11 seed bead
  • One turquoise 6x3mm rondelle
  • One Czech glass metallic gold #11 seed bead
  • One turquoise 6x3mm rondelle
  • One Czech glass metallic gold #11 seed bead
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire creating a turquoise and pearl drop.
Step 2
Open the loop on one gold-plated leverback earwire. Pass the loop through the loop on the turquoise and pearl drop. Close the loop.
Step 3
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to create a second earring.
