 Bracelet with Seed Beads

Bracelet with Seed Beads
Step 1
Using scissors cut a 3-yard length of dark cream C-Lon® thread. Add a stop bead to the thread, by looping through the stop bead 1 time, leaving a 1-inch tail. String onto the C-Lon, one size 8 metallic dark gold seed bead, one size 8 metallic dark green bead, one size 8 metallic dark gold seed bead and one size 8 metallic dark green bead.

Begin working in even count peyote, creating a strip that is 4 beads wide and 63 rows long alternating dark gold and dark green seed beads.

Once complete, weave the thread back into the beadwork and trim.
Step 2
The last row will have four beads extending out past the other three beads in the row. Weave the thread so the thread exits the inside of the first high bead. Pass the thread through the first loop of the clasp then through the second high bead. Continue to weave the thread through the beads and the remaining loops of the clasp. Weave the remaining thread into the bracelet to secure the clasp. Trim the excess thread.

Repeat to attach the second portion of the clasp to the opposite end of the bracelet.
Step 3
Using scissors cut a 3-yard length of turquoise C-Lon thread. Weave the thread into one end of the bracelet until it is secure. Once secure, weave the thread so it exits the first bead in the first row to the inside.

String onto the thread five size 15 silver-lined ice blue beads. Pass the thread across the front of the bracelet and pass it through the last size 8 bead on the third row and then back out through the last size 8 bead in the fourth row to the inside.

String onto the thread five size 15 opaque luster teal seed beads. Pass the thread out through the first size 8 bead on the sixth row and then back out through the first size 8 bead in the seventh row.

Repeat Step 3 to attach five size 15 seed beads to the thread as it passes over the front of the length of the bracelet in the following order; silver-lined blue AB, opaque luster teal, and color-lined teal luster in a repeating pattern.
Step 4
Once you have reached the bottom of the bracelet, skip to an open size 8 seed bead and repeat Step 3 to attach five size 15 seed beads to the thread as it passes over the front of the length of the bracelet in the following order; silver-lined blue AB, opaque luster teal, and color-lined teal luster in a repeating pattern.

Once complete, weave the thread back into the beadwork and trim.
