End of Materials List
Step 1
Using flush-cutters cut the following lengths of Zebra Wire™:
  • One 15-inch length of lime 18 gauge
  • One 15-inch length of green 22 gauge
  • Seven 1-inch lengths of natural copper 24 gauge
Step 2
Fold the lime wire in half using care to keep the folded center rounded.
Step 3
Fold the green wire in half and twist the halves together.
Step 4
Lay the folded end of the twisted wire inside the folded end of the lime wire 1/4 inch from the fold in the lime wire.
Step 5
Using round-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers wrap one 1-inch length of natural copper wire around the three wires for five wraps securing the twisted wire inside the two halves of the lime wire.
  • Repeat to wrap the three wires together 1-inch down from first wrap
  • Repeat to wrap the three wires together 3/4 of an inch down from second wrap
  • Repeat to wrap the three wires together 1-inch down from third wrap
Step 6
String the following beads onto the center of the twisted green wire:
  • Two lime green 6mm round wood beads
  • One copper 20x12x7mm butterfly bead (bottom hole first)
  • One lime green 6mm round wood bead
  • One copper 20x12x7mm butterfly bead (top hole first)
  • Two lime green 6mm round wood beads
Step 7
Gently spread the two lime wires apart between the two wraps and center the beaded strand.
Step 8
Wrap one 1-inch length of natural copper wire around the three wires for five wraps 3/8 of an inch down from the last bead.

Repeat to wrap the three wires together 1-inch down from the last wrap.

Repeat to wrap the three wires together 3/4 of an inch down from last wrap.
Step 9
Using flush-cutters, cut 3/4 inch off the end on one half of the lime wire.
Step 10
Wrap the three wires together 1-inch down from last wrap to secure the three wires together.
Step 11
Trim the twisted wire ends leaving a 1/8 inch tail. Fold tail over the last wrap.
Step 12
Using round-nose pliers, form a loop on the straight end of the long lime wire for use as a hook clasp.
