Necklace

Step 1
Using flush-cutters, cut the following:
  • One 30-inch length of 30 gauge gold color brass Zebra Wire™
  • Two 5-inch lengths of gold-plated 6x5mm curb chain
Step 2
String one Swarovski 8mm round peridot crystal onto a headpin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters form a simple loop on the straight end of the headpin. Repeat to create fourteen Swarovski 8mm round peridot crystal bead drops.

Creating Tassel

Step 3
Using flush-cutters, cut the head off of a headpin. Form a simple loop on one end of the wire to form an eyepin.
Step 4
Using flush-cutters, cut a 7-inch length of gold-plated Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String the beading wire through one crimp tube and the loop on the eyepin. Pass the wire back through the crimp tube leaving the wire with approximately 1-inch loop. Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim the excess wire.
Step 5
String onto the beading wire the following:
  • Five Swarovski 4mm bicone peridot crystals
  • One Swarovski 4mm bicone light rose crystal
  • Five Swarovski 4mm bicone peridot crystals
  • Two Swarovski 4mm bicone light rose crystals
  • Three Swarovski 4mm bicone peridot crystals
  • One Swarovski 4mm bicone rose crystal
  • One Swarovski 4mm bicone peridot crystal
  • Four Swarovski 4mm bicone rose crystals
  • One Swarovski 4mm bicone peridot crystal
  • One Swarovski 4mm bicone rose satin crystal
  • Two Swarovski 4mm bicone peridot crystals
  • Five Swarovski 4mm bicone rose satin crystals
  • One Swarovski 4mm bicone peridot crystal
Step 6
Place one crimp tube and one 4mm jumpring on the beading wire after the last crystal. Pass the beading wire back through crimp bead, then pull the wire snugly so the crimp is closer to the jumpring. Make sure there is no slack along the length of the first part of the strand. Place a small amount of Loctite® 409 Gel adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters trim excess wire from the end. Gently close a crimp cover over the crimp.
Step 7
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers, open the loop on a Swarovski 8mm round peridot crystal bead drop. Pass it through the jumpring on the bottom of the tassel. Close the jumpring.
Step 8
Repeat Steps 4 - 7 to attach six tassels (for a total of seven tassels) to the eyepin.
Step 9
Pass the eyepin with the tassels through the back of a gold-plated 19x8mm cutout bead cap. String onto the straight end of the wire one Swarovski 8mm round peridot crystal. Finish the straight end of the wire with a simple loop.
Step 10
Open a 7mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on a Swarovski 8mm round peridot crystal bead drop. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach a 4mm jumpring to seven Swarovski 8mm round peridot crystal bead drops.
Step 11
Pass the end of a 30-inch length of Zebra Wire through the first set of holes on the outer row of the bead cap. Wrap it for four to five wraps to secure it to the bead cap exiting to the underside of the bead cap. String onto the wire the jumpring attached to a Swarovski 8mm round peridot crystal bead drop. Pass the wire through from the back to the front through the next hole on the outer edge pulling the jumpring up under the edge of the bead cap.

String onto the wire one Swarovski 4mm bicone rose satin crystal on the top outer edge of the bead cap, then pass the wire back though the next hole to the back of the bead cap. Continue to attach seven Swarovski 8mm round peridot crystal bead drops to the bottom of the bead cap and twelve Swarovski 4mm bicone rose satin crystals to the top outer edge, eleven Swarovski 4mm bicone rose crystals to the middle row on the top of the bead cap and seven Swarovski 4mm bicone light rose crystals to the inner row on the top of the bead cap. Secure the end of the wire using four to five wraps after the last crystal is attached. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the end.

Repeat to attach the toggle ring portion of the clasp to the first link on the second 5-inch length of chain and two 4mm jumprings to the last link on the second 5-inch length of chain.

String onto the wire, one crimp tube and the jumpring attached to the last link on the first 5-inch length of chain and back through the crimp tube leaving one end of the wire approximately 1-inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the jumpring formed in a nicely curved tube. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim the excess wire from the short end. Gently close a crimp cover over the crimp.

  • One gold-plated 3mm round bead
Repeat four times for a total of five sets.
Step 15
String onto the beading wire three Swarovski 8mm round peridot crystals and one gold-plated 3mm round bead.
Step 16
Place one crimp tube on the beading wire after bead. Pass the beading wire through a 4mm jumpring on the left side of the diamond link and back through crimp then pull the wire snugly so the crimp is closer to the jumpring. Make sure there is no slack along the length of the first part of the necklace. Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the crimp (optional).
