Single-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Enamel and Silver-Finished "Pewter" Charm, Celestial Crystal® Beads and Drops and Silver-Plated Brass Drops

Necklace

Step 1
Using flush-cutters, cut two 9-inch lengths and one 1-inch length of silver-finished 2.2mm cable chain.

Repeat to cut five 3-1/2 inch lengths of silver-finished copper 24-gauge Zebra Wire™.
Step 2
String one Celestial Crystal glass clear AB 4mm round bead onto one 1-inch silver-plated headpin. Using flat-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire creating a beading drop.

Repeat to create a Czech fire-polished glass ruby red 4mm round bead drop.
Step 3
String one Celestial Crystal red 8x6mmm teardrop onto one 3-1/2 inch length of Zebra Wire and form a briolette wrapped loop drop.

Repeat to create three blue 8x6mm teardrop briolette wrapped loop drops.

Repeat to create one red 15x10mm teardrop briolette wrapped loop drop.
Step 4
Place one silver-plated 15mm flat round drop onto a bench block. Use a permanent marker to mark where you want to punch the date numbers 9/11. Hold the number punch straight up then hit the end with the flat head of a ball peen hammer. Repeat to punch additional numbers onto the line. Remove the marker line from the drop using acetone.
Step 5
Using flat-nose pliers and chain-nose pliers open one silver-plated 4mm jumpring and pass it through the hole on the stamped drop. Close the jumpring.
Step 6
Open one 4mm jumpring and pass it through the first link on one 9-inch length of chain and the loop on the bar portion of the toggle clasp. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to attach the ring portion of the toggle clasp to the first link on the second 9-inch length of chain.
Step 7
Open one silver-plated 4mm jumpring and pass it through the last link on both 9-inch lengths of chain, the first link on one 1-inch length of chain, the loop on one red 4mm round bead drop, the loop on one clear AB 4mm bead drop, the loop on one blue briolette wrapped loop drop and the jumpring attached to the stamped drop. Close the jumpring.
Step 8
Open one jumpring and pass it through the loop on one red 8x6mm teardrop briolette wrapped loop drop and the third link on the 1-inch length of chain. Close the jumpring.
Step 9
Open one jumpring and pass it through the loop on one blue 8x6mm briolette wrapped loop drop and the sixth link on the 1-inch length of chain. Close the jumpring.
Step 10
Open one jumpring and pass it through the loop on one enamel and silver-finished "pewter" heart with flag charm and the ninth link on the 1-inch length of chain. Close the jumpring.
Step 11
Open one jumpring and pass it through the loop on one blue 8x6mm briolette wrapped loop drop and the second to the last link on the 1-inch length of chain. Close the jumpring.
Step 12
Open one jumpring and pass it through the loop on one red 15x10mm briolette wrapped loop drop and the last link on the 1-inch length of chain. Close the jumpring.

Earrings

Step 1
Using flush-cutters, cut two 1/2 inch lengths of silver-finished 2.2mm cable chain.

Repeat to cut six 3-1/2 inch lengths of silver 24-gauge Zebra Wire.
Step 2
String one Celestial Crystal clear AB 4mm round bead onto one 1-inch silver-plated headpin. Using flat-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire creating a beading drop.

Repeat to create a total of four clear AB 4mm round beading drops.
Step 3
String one Celestial Crystal red 8x6mmm teardrop onto one 3-1/2 inch length of Zebra Wire and form a briolette wrapped loop drop.

Repeat to create a second red 8x6mmm teardrop glass drop.

Repeat to create a total of two blue 8x6mm teardrop glass drops.

Repeat to create a total of two red 15x10mm teardrop glass drops.
Step 4
Place one silver-plated 15mm flat round drop onto a bench block. Use a permanent marker to mark where you want to punch the date numbers 9/11. Hold the number punch straight up then hit the end with the flat head of a ball peen hammer. Repeat to punch additional numbers onto the line. Remove the marker line from the drop using acetone.

Repeat to punch a second silver-plated 15mm flat round drop.
Step 5
Open one 4mm silver-plated jumpring and pass it through the loop on one silver-plated 19mm leverback earwire, the first link on one 1/2 inch length of chain and the loop on one red 8x6mm teardrop glass drop. Close the jumpring.
Step 6
Open the loop on one clear AB 4mm round beading drop and pass it through the third link on the 1/2 inch length of chain. Close the loop.
Step 7
Open one silver-plated 4mm jumpring and pass it through the hole on one silver-plated 15mm flat round stamped drop and the fourth link on the 1/2 inch length of chain. Close the jumpring.
Step 8
Open one silver-plated 4mm jumpring and pass it through the loop on one blue 8x6mm teardrop glass drop and the third to the last link on the 1/2 inch length of chain. Close the jumpring.
Step 9
Open one silver-plated 4mm jumpring and pass it through the last link on the 1/2 inch length of chain, the loop on one clear AB 4mm round beading drop and the loop on one red 15x10mm teardrop glass drop. Close the jumpring.

Repeat Steps 5 - 9 to create a second earring.
