Earrings with Wood Beads, Wirework and Aluminum Chain

Earrings with Wood Beads, Wirework and Aluminum Chain
Step 1
Using flush-cutters, cut the following:
  • Two 5-inch lengths of green 4x1.2mm flat aluminum wire
  • Two 5-inch lengths of sapphire blue 28-gauge Zebra Wire™
  • Six 2-inch lengths of red 6x4mm aluminum curb chain
Step 2
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form an 8mm loop on one end of a 5-inch length of 4mm flat aluminum wire. Continue to form a 25mm S-shaped curve to the wire, finishing the wire with an 8mm loop. Close the wire down to create a 4-loop link. Repeat to create two 4-loop links.
Step 3
Using the EUROTOOL® hole punch pliers, punch one 1.25mm hole in the center of the top 8mm loop on the 4-loop link. Repeat to punch a hole in the center of the bottom 8mm loop and the bottom edge of the left S-shaped loop 1/4 inch from the left edge. Repeat on the bottom edge of the right S-shaped loop 1/4 inch from the right edge.

Repeat to punch four holes in the second 4-loop link.
Step 4
String one wood dark blue 10mm rounded triangle bead onto an eyepin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire. Repeat to create six wood dark blue 10mm rounded triangle beading links.
Step 5
String one wood dark pink 5x4mm barrel bead onto a headpin. Pass the headpin through the hole on the top 8mm loop on the 4-loop link from the inside so the end of the wire is on the outside of the loop. String one wood dark pink 5x4mm barrel bead onto the headpin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire.

Repeat to attach two wood dark pink 5x4mm barrel beads using one headpin on each of the bottom three holes on the 4-loop link.
Step 6
Close down the wire on the 4-loop link. Wrap the 5-inch length of sapphire blue Zebra Wire from the inside of the top 8mm loop to the bottom loop for four to five wraps to secure the 4-loop link in place.
Step 7
Open the loop on an earwire. Pass it through the double wood dark pink 5x4mm barrel bead drop on the top 8mm loop on the 4-loop link. Close the loop.
Step 8
Open the top loop on one wood dark blue 10mm rounded triangle beading link. Pass it through the loop on the double wood dark pink 5x4mm barrel bead drop on the bottom left 8mm loop on the 4-loop link. Close the loop. Open the opposite loop on the wood dark blue 10mm rounded triangle beading link. Pass it through the first link on a 2-inch length of chain. Close the loop.

Repeat to attach one wood dark blue 10mm rounded triangle beading link and one 2-inch length of chain to double wood dark pink 5x4mm barrel bead drop on the bottom the middle and right 8mm loop on the 4-loop link.
Step 9
