    Necklace

    Step 1
Using the checkered side of a texturing hammer and a steel block, texture the front side of a copper 30x30mm heart blank. Repeat to texture the front of three copper 30x30mm heart blanks and four copper 20x20mm heart blanks.
    Step 2
Using a brush, apply a thin layer of tulip red Gilders Paste® over the textured side of a copper 30x30mm heart blank.

Repeat to apply the African bronze Gilders Paste over the tulip red Gilders Paste.

Repeat to apply both colors of Gilders Paste lightly over the front of three copper 30x30mm heart blanks and four copper 20x20mm heart blanks.

Allow paste to dry for 12 to 24 hours.

Note: Thin out with paint thinner or mineral spirits to transform the highly concentrated paste to a preferred consistency. Use in a well-ventilated area.
    Step 3
Mix Devcon® 5-minute Epoxy according to manufacturer's instructions. Place a thin layer of adhesive on the back of an antiqued copper-plated 26x13mm awareness ribbon bail. Press the bail onto the center of the front of the first copper 30x30mm heart blank. Let the adhesive set. Make sure to use proper ventilation when using this product.

Repeat to attach an antiqued copper-plated 26x13mm awareness ribbon bail to the left lobe of the second copper 30x30mm heart blank and the right lobe of the third copper 30x30mm heart blank. Repeat to attach an antiqued copper-plated 18x9mm awareness ribbon bail onto the center of four copper 20x20mm heart blanks.
    Step 4
Using flush-cutters cut one 5-inch length of 20-gauge copper wire.
    Step 5
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a 4mm wrapped loop on the straight end of the wire. String onto the straight end of the wire one 8mm round copper bead. Using round-nose pliers create the loop leaving the excess wire. Attach the loop to the bail on the awareness ribbon attached in the center of the first copper 30x30mm heart pendent. Finish the wire with a wrapped loop to create one 8mm round copper bead double-wrapped beading link.
    Step 6
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 7x6mm oval jumpring. Pass it through the loop on the hook portion of one clasp. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach a 7x6mm oval jumpring the loop on both sides of two awareness ribbon hook-and-eye clasps.

Repeat to attach a 7x6mm oval jumpring to the bail attached to the four copper 20x20mm heart pendants.
    Step 7
Using flush-cutters, cut a 16-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String onto the wire one crimp tube, a copper Accu-Guard™ wire protector and the jumpring on the first hook portion of the clasp. Pass the wire back through the crimp tube, leaving one end of the wire approximately 1-inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the Accu-Guard. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite®) inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim the excess wire from the short end.
    Step 8
String onto the beading wire the following:
    • Two sets of one glass ruby red 5x4mm faceted rondelle bead and one copper 6x2mm beaded rondelle
