    Necklace

    Step 1
Using scissors cut four 72-inch lengths of satin silver bugtail cord.
    Step 2
Using flush-cutters, cut the following lengths of wire:
    • Fourteen 6-inch lengths of silver-finished copper 20-gauge Zebra Wire™
    • Two 5-inch lengths of silver-finished copper 22-gauge Wrapit® wire
    • Seven 3-inch lengths of silver-finished copper 26-gauge Zebra Wire
    Step 3
Match one end of four 72-inch lengths of bugtail cord. Fold the cords over and match up the ends, creating eight strands. Wrap a 5-inch length of 22-gauge wire around the folded center of the cords two to three times to secure.
    Step 4
Place the wire through the center of the kumihimo disk, and place the bugtail cord strands through the slots on the disk. Braid the cord in a basic 8-cord pattern for 20 inches.

Note: Attach a fishing weight to a paper clip and hang off the end of the wire to weight the braided bugtail cord.
    Step 5
Remove the cords from the disk. Tie the cords in an overhand knot to secure the end of the braided cord. Tighten the knot.
    Step 6
Place a small amount of G-S Hypo fabric cement adhesive on end of the braided cord. Pass the end of 5 inches of the 22-gauge wire through the end of the braided cord and tightly wind the wire around the braided cord to secure the cord in place.
    Step 7
String on the braided cord seven antiqued silver-finished 13x7mm tube with oval cutouts beads. Space the beads on the center of the cord approximately 3/8 inch apart.
    Step 8
Pass the straight end of the wire through one silver-finished 8x6mm seamless cone. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a wrapped loop on the straight end of the wire.

Repeat to attach one silver-finished 8x6mm seamless cone to the opposite end of the braided cord.
    Step 9
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers, open a 4mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on the hook portion of the clasp and the wrapped loop above the bead cone on the first end of the braided cord. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach the eye portion of the clasp and the wrapped loop on the opposite end of the braided cord.

    Wire Components

    Step 10
Place a Swarovski ultra green AB 18mm rivoli chaton into an antiqued silver-plated 19.5mm round bezel drop. Using a bezel roller, gently roll the edge of the bezel down against the chaton. Place the bezel roller against the opposite side of the bezel. Continue to push the edge of bezel onto the chaton all the way around the bezel, working from one side to the opposite side. Repeat to create two Swarovski ultra green AB 18mm rivoli chaton bezel drops and two Swarovski ultra green AB 16mm rivoli chaton bezel drops using one silver-plated 18mm round bezel drop and one Swarovski ultra green AB 16mm rivoli chaton.
    Step 11
Using the Thing-A-Ma-Jig, place ten pegs in the following order to create a crescent-shaped design:
    • First row: peg in hole #3
    • Second row: peg in hole #3 and 4
    • Third row: peg in hole #1, 2, 3 and 4
    • Fourth row: peg in hole #2, 3 and 4
Use a 6-inch length of 20-gauge Zebra Wire make a loop on the end of the wire. Place the loop over the #3 peg on the first row. Making figure-eight wraps, wrap the wire around the pegs in the following order to create crescent-shaped wrapped wire drop:
    • Second row: peg 4
    • Second row: peg 3
    • Third row: peg 3
    • Third row: peg 4
    • Fourth row: peg 4 (go straight to next peg)
    • Fourth row: peg 3 (resume figure eight)
    • Third row: peg 2
    • Fourth row: peg 2
    • Third row: peg 1
Use flush-cutters to cut excess wire from end.

Repeat to make fourteen crescent-shaped wrapped wire drops.
    Step 12
Position two crescent-shaped wrapped wire drops facing eachother in mirror images with the top and bottom loops matched to create an oval shape.

Wrap a 3-inch length of 26-gauge Zebra Wire around the top loops of both of the drops for three to four wraps to secure the drops together.

String onto the wire one Swarovski chrysolite AB 4mm round bead, two Swarovski chrysolite AB 6mm round beads and one Swarovski chrysolite AB 4mm round bead.

Position the beads in front of the open space between the crescents. Wrap the wire around the bottom loop of both of the drops for three to four wraps to secure the design, creating an oval wire-wrapped loop drop.

Repeat to create seven oval wire-wrapped loop drops.
    Step 13
Open a 5mm jumpring. Pass it through the top loop on an oval wire-wrapped loop drop and through the bottom cutout oval on the first antiqued silver-finished 13x7mm tube on the braided cord. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach an oval wire-wrapped loop drop to the bottom of each of the antiqued silver-finished 13x7mm tubes on the braided cord.
    Step 14
Open a 4mm jumpring. Pass it through the left middle loop on the first oval wire-wrapped loop drop and the corresponding right middle loop on the second oval wire-wrapped loop drop. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach the left and right sides of the remaining oval wire-wrapped loop drops.
    Step 15
String one Swarovski chrysolite AB 4mm round bead onto a headpin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire. Repeat to create twenty-two Swarovski chrysolite AB 4mm round bead drops.
