    Step 1
Using flush-cutters cut two 24-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.

    Using scissors cut the following:
    • One 36-inch length (1 yard) of Nymo® light tan nylon cord
    • One 6-inch length of scarlet red soutache cord
    Note:
    • It may be necessary to cut other 36-inch lengths of thread later in the design
    • The tan soutache is left connected to the spool until the end of the project in order to ensure a correct length for the design
    Step 2
Apply a generous amount of GORILLA™ glue to the working end, approximately 1/4 inch of the tan soutache cord. After drying, trim most of the tip off leaving a thin edge of sealed tan soutache on the end.

Repeat to seal each end of the 6-inch length of scarlet red soutache cord.

    Pendant

    Step 3
Thread a needle with the 36-inch length of Nymo light tan nylon thread. Double the thread so the ends are even; create a thread knot to secure.
    Step 4
Roll the flat end of the tan soutache cord approximately six times making a spiral approximately 17mm in diameter. Stich through the fifth layer of tan soutache, near the loose end, and through the center of the entire spiral. Stitch back through close to the previous stitch and coming through the sixth layer of tan soutache and concealing the knot.

Stitch through the sixth layer approximately 1/4 inch (toward the loose end) from the previous stitch through the center once more. Pass the thread back through the spiral close to where you came out loosely securing the spiral in place.

Note: Keep stitches as close to the grooved center of the tan soutache cord as possible to conceal thread and avoid marring the tan soutache.
    Step 5
String one Swarovski red coral 3mm pearl onto the thread. Reverse the direction of the tan soutache so it curves halfway around the pearl. Stitch through the tan soutache keeping it snug against the pearl.
    Step 6
Stitch through the tan soutache and string one Swarovski red coral 3mm pearl. Stitch through a single layer of tan soutache on the opposite side of the pearl.
    Step 7
Repeat Step 6 to ladder stitch the following, stitching through the tan soutache on each side of the beads:
    • Two Swarovski red coral 3mm pearls
    • Repeat this sequence a total of three times:
      • One Swarovski dark red coral 6mm round
      • One Swarovski red coral 3mm pearls
    • Three Swarovski red coral 3mm pearls
Tip: Make sure to keep your thread tight while stitching so the tan soutache cord curves with the beads outlining them.
    Step 8
String one Swarovski coral 4mm pearl. Reverse the direction of the tan soutache so it curves halfway around the pearl. Stitch through the tan soutache keeping it snug against the pearl.

Stitch back down through the tan soutache (in nearly the same place as you came out), pearl and through a single layer of the tan soutache on the opposite side of the pearl. Repeat to come out the other side.
    Step 9
Ladder stitch the following stitching through the tan soutache on each side of each bead:
    • Seven Swarovski coral 4mm pearls
    • One Swarovski coral 6mm pearl
    • Two Swarovski coral 4mm pearls
    • One Swarovski coral 6mm pearl
    • Six Swarovski coral 4mm pearls
    Step 10
Curve the tan soutache around the end of the last Swarovski coral 4mm pearl so that it meets the curve around the first Swarovski red coral 3mm pearl from the previous layer.

With the thread coming out of the previous tan soutache layer, stitch back through that layer and the layer outlining the first Swarovski coral 4mm pearl to connect the layers. Repeat once more to secure the connection.
    Step 11
Lay the sealed end of scarlet red soutache flat against the tan soutache at the stitch and reverse the direction of the tan soutache so it curves around the scarlet red soutache. With the thread coming out of the connected area, stitch through the scarlet red soutache and the next layer of tan soutache keeping it snug against the scarlet red soutache.
    Step 12
Stitch through the scarlet red soutache and the tan soutache layer on either side for approximately 1/4 inch to secure them together. Continue to stitch the scarlet red soutache and the top layer of tan soutache together for approximately 1/2 inch.
    Step 13
Ladder stitch one Swarovski crystal golden shadow 8mm round stitching through the tan and the scarlet red soutache on one side and the tan soutache on the opposite side.

Pass the thread back through the tan soutache and string three Swarovski crystal dark red coral 3mm bicones. Stitch through the tan and scarlet red soutache on the opposite side of the beads.
    Step 14
Repeat the sequence in Step 13 a total of three times.
    Step 15
Stitch the tan and scarlet red and soutache together for approximately 1/2 inch. Pass the thread coming out through the scarlet red soutache, then ladder stitch one Swarovski dark red coral 6mm bicone and one Swarovski crystal golden shadow 12x8mm rondelle. Repeat this sequence a total of four times stitching the tan and scarlet red and soutache together for approximately 1/2 inch between each set.
    Step 16
Repeat the sequence in Step 13 in the opposite order a total of three times.
    Step 17
Stitch the tan and scarlet red soutache together for approximately 1/2 inch. Then stich through the scarlet red soutache and the tan soutache layer on either side to the end of the scarlet red soutache and secure them together.
    Step 18
Apply a generous amount of glue to the loose end of the tan soutache cord, approximately 1/8 inch past the end of the scarlet red soutache cord. After drying, cut the tan soutache leaving most of the glue on the remainder of the soutache and leaving a thin edge of sealed tan soutache on the end.
    Step 19
Trim the glue from the end of the remaining soutache cord leaving a thin edge of glue on the end to keep it sealed. Place the end of the remaining soutache approximately 10mm from the end of the previous tan soutache (free end facing same direction as previous end). Stitch the tan soutache cords together for approximately 1/4 inch.
    Step 20
String one Swarovski coral 6mm pearl. Reverse the direction of the top layer tan soutache so it curves around the pearl. Stitch through the top layer tan soutache keeping it snug against the pearl. Pass the thread back through the top layer in almost the same place that you came out, back through the pearl and through the previous layer.

Stitch back through the previous layer, curve the top layer closely around the pearl and stitch through both layers of tan soutache twice close to the pearl.
    Step 21
Ladder stich one Swarovski coral 4mm pearl, then stitch through the two layers of tan soutache close to the pearl.
    Step 22
With the thread coming out the top layer tan soutache string onto the thread one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Stitch through the top layer and back through the Accu-Guard a total of three times.
    Step 23
Ladder stitch the following stitching through the tan soutache on each side of each bead then through the two layers of tan soutache close to the pearl:
    • Four Swarovski coral 4mm pearls
    • Two Swarovski coral 6mm pearls
    • Four Swarovski coral 8mm pearls
    • Two Swarovski coral 6mm pearls
    • Five Swarovski coral 4mm pearls

    Step 25
Ladder stich one Swarovski coral 4mm pearl, then stitch through the two layers of tan soutache close to the pearl.
    Step 26
Apply a generous amount of glue approximately 19mm from the last stitch. After drying, trim most of the tip off leaving a thin edge of sealed tan soutache on the end.
    Step 27
With thread coming up from the previous layer of tan soutache string one Swarovski coral 6mm pearl. Wrap the remainder of the top layer tan soutache around the pearl and stitch through it, back down through the pearl, the very end of the top layer and through the previous layer. Stitch back through the previous layer and through the soutache outlining the previous Swarovski coral 4mm pearl and back through the tan soutache outlining the Swarovski coral 6mm pearl.
    Step 28
With the thread coming from between the soutache and the 6mm pearl, secure thread with a finishing knot. Mix equal parts Devcon® 5 Minute® Epoxy according to manufacturer’s instructions and apply a small amount to knot. When dry, trim remaining thread.
    Step 29
Use remaining thread or if necessary add new thread to the needle.

Stitch through the scarlet red soutache between each Swarovski dark red 6mm bicone from Step 15 and add the following:
    • One Swarovski dark red coral 3mm bicone
    • One Swarovski dark red coral 6mm bicone
    • One Swarovski dark red coral 3mm bicone
    Step 30
Spot stich one Swarovski dark red 3mm bicone between the each 12x8mm rondelles from Step 15 adding a total of three.

Spot stitch one Swarovski crystal golden shadow 4mm bicone to the curve of the tan soutache cord at each end of the scarlet red soutache cord.
