STEP 1
Mix Devcon® 5-Minute Epoxy according to manufacturer's instructions. Apply a small amount of epoxy to several areas among the "branches" of the tree on the 45mm domed cutout tree focal. Use the Crystal Katana to place one peridot flat back at each area. Set aside to dry for approximately five minutes.
Attach one ice-pick bail to the tree focal.
STEP 2
Cut one 19-inch length of .019 inch and five 10-inch lengths of .012 inch Accu-Flex professional-quality beading wire.
STEP 3
String onto the 19-inch length of beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a crimp cover.
STEP 4
String the following onto the beading wire:
-
One 4mm smooth round
-
One opaque bronze 6mm round
-
One 4mm smooth round
-
One 7x4mm flower bead cap
-
One opaque bronze 6mm round
-
One 7x4mm flower bead cap
Repeat this sequence to string five sets then string one 4mm smooth round and one crimp. Insert the end of each 10-inch length of beading wire into the crimp then crimp to secure.
String one 22mm puffed round onto the end of the lengths of beading wire, covering the crimp.
STEP 5
Separate the lengths of beading wire. String onto one length: one 3mm smooth round, approximately 1-inch of silver #11 seed beads and one 3mm smooth round then place a Bead Stopper™ on the end of the beading wire. Repeat this stringing sequence using each length of beading wire.
STEP 6
String one 20x14mm lampworked glass tube with frog onto the end of the lengths of beading wire.
Separate the lengths of beading wire. String onto one length: one 3mm smooth round, approximately 1 inch of silver #11 seed beads and one 3mm smooth round then place a Bead Stopper™ on the end of the beading wire. Repeat this stringing sequence using four lengths of beading wire.
String approximately 1-1/4 inch of #11 seed beads onto the other two lengths of beading wire.
STEP 7
String one 3mm round onto the end of three lengths of beading wire then reattach the Bead Stopper.
String one 3mm round onto the ends of two lengths of beading wire then string approximately four #11 seed beads onto the end of both lengths. Reattach the Bead Stopper.
STEP 8
Remove the Bead Stopper then string the tree focal onto the end of the beading wires. Repeat the stringing sequence in Step 6, string one 22mm puffed round then repeat the stringing sequence in Step 5.
Continue to string one crimp onto the end of the lengths of beading wire then then crimp to secure. Trim excess from the short ends of the beading wire.
STEP 9
String the following onto the beading wire:
-
One 20x14mm lampworked glass tube with frog (covering the crimp)
-
One 4mm smooth round
-
One 7x4mm flower bead cap
-
One opaque bronze 6mm round
-
One 7x4mm flower bead cap
-
One 4mm smooth round
-
One opaque bronze 6mm round
Repeat this sequence to string five sets then string one 4mm smooth round.
Repeat Step 3 to secure the strand.
STEP 10
Use one 4mm jumpring to attach one portion of the toggle clasp to the Accu-Guard on each end of the strand.
STEP 1
Apply a small amount of Devcon to several areas among the "branches" of the tree, on each 26x24mm tree of life charm then affix peridot flat backs. Set aside to dry for approximately five minutes.
STEP 2
String one opaque bronze 6mm round onto one 1-inch eyepin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a second bronze link.
STEP 3
Attach one end of one bronze link to one tree of life charm then attach the opposite end to one fishhook earwire. Repeat to create a second earring.
