Necklace

Creating the Links

Step 1
Using scissors cut two 15x6.5mm, two 15x15mm, two 18x15mm, two 21x15mm, two 24x15mm and one 27x15mm copper sheet sections.
Step 2
Place the 15mm edge of one 15x6.5mm copper sheet section on the smaller jaw on the 2mm side of the Wubbers® Designer Mandrel small bail-making pliers. Continue to wrap the entire section around the bail-making pliers creating a tube bead. Repeat to create a total of two copper 15mm tube beads.
Step 3
Place one 15mm edge of one 15x15mm copper sheet section on the smaller jaw on the 2mm side of the pliers and form a single loop. Repeat to create a loop on the opposite end of the copper sheet section creating a copper 15x15mm link. Repeat to create a total of two copper 15x15mm links.

Repeat to create the following:
  • Two 18x15mm copper links
  • Two 21x15mm copper links
  • Two 24x15mm copper links
  • One 27x15mm copper link
Step 4
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open four shiny copper 7x6mm oval jumpring. Pass one oval jumpring through one 8mm jumpring attached to one S-hook clasp. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to attach one oval jumpring to the second 8mm jumpring attached to the S-hook clasp.
Step 5
String the following onto one copper 2-inch headpin:
  • One rubber-coated glass matte neon purple 8x6mm rondelle
  • One copper 6x1mm brushed wavy rondelle
  • One rubber-coated glass matte neon purple 8x6mm rondelle
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters form a wrapped loop on the straight end of the wire creating a rubber-coated glass drop.
Step 6
Pass one oval jumpring through the wrapped loop on the rubber-coated glass drop. Close the jumpring.

Pass one oval jumpring through the previous oval jumpring and the small loop on one end of the S-hook clasp. Close the jumpring. Use a pair of flat-nose pliers to press the small loop closed around the jumpring to secure it in place.
Step 7
Using flush-cutters cut one 21-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String onto the beading wire one crimp bead and one copper Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire though the first 7x6mm oval jumpring attached to the S-hook clasp and back through the crimp leaving approximately 1-inch one end of the beading wire. Pull the crimp tight against the Accu-Guard. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp bead. Using flush-cutters, trim any excess wire from the short end. Place a 4mm crimp cover over the crimp and gently close it.
Step 8
String onto the beading wire one crimp bead. Measure 6-1/2 inches down the wire from the previous crimp and crimp the crimp bead. Place a 4mm crimp cover over the crimp.
Step 9
String the top hole of each of the following links onto the beading wire:
  • One 15x15mm copper link
  • One 18x15mm copper link
  • One 21x15mm copper link
  • One 24x15mm copper link
  • One 27x15mm copper link
  • One 24x15mm copper link
  • One 21x15mm copper link
  • One 18x15mm copper link
  • One 15x15mm copper link
Step 10
Repeat Step 8 to secure the links.
Step 11
String onto the beading wire one crimp bead and one copper Accu-Guard. Pass the wire though the 7x6mm jumpring attached to the opposite end of the clasp and back through crimp. Measure 6.5 inches down the wire from the previous crimp. Pull the wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard. Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the end. Place a 4mm crimp cover over the crimp.

Second Strand

Step 12
Using flush-cutters, cut four 27-inch lengths of beading wire. Repeat Step 7 to attach the first wire through to the copper Accu-Guard and first 7x6mm oval jumpring. Pass the ends of the three remaining wires through the end of the crimp in the opposite direction so all four lengths of wire and the 1-inch tail are going the same direction. Crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the short ends. Place a 5mm stardust crimp cover over the crimp.
Step 13
String onto all of the lengths of beading wire one crimp bead. Measure 6-1/2 inches from the previous crimp and crimp the crimp bead securing the strands together. Place a copper 5mm stardust crimp cover over the crimp.
