Earrings with Silver-Plated Charms, Glass Rhinestone and Silver-Finished Brass Cupchain and Friendly Plastic®

STEP 1
Lay a Teflon® sheet onto the flat surface of an electric griddle/skillet and turn to a medium low heat setting then lay two 28mm round drops onto the sheet. Cover the bezel area of each drop with a layer of small pieces of Friendly Plastic®. Use a metal pick or awl to maneuver the pieces so you don't burn your fingers.

Allow the plastic to melt together adding additional small pieces where gaps remain.

Tip: The placement and shapes of the Friendly Plastic can differ between the two drops.
STEP 2
Cut the loop off of two 10x10mm star charms then press one star charm into the center of each round drop. Remove the Teflon sheet from the heat source and place on a glue gun pad on a flat work surface to cool.
STEP 3
Once cool, fill the bezel of one drop with Magic-Glos® top coat until it is level with the edge of the bezel. Cure according to manufacturer’s instructions. If desired apply a second layer of Magic-Glos, being careful not to spill over the edge, for a domed effect. Repeat to seal the second drop.
STEP 4
Cut two seventeen cup lengths of light red 4mm round rhinestone cupchain.
STEP 5
Apply a small amount of Devcon® 5 Minute® Epoxy to the outside edge on one drop. Place one length of cupchain over the epoxy, arranging the ends so they meet as closely as possible.

Repeat to attach cupchain to the second drop. Allow to dry for 5 minutes.
STEP 6
Attach a fishhook earwire to the loop on each drop.
