What inspires you as a designer-artist?
Travel, historical films, art exhibitions. Sometimes all begins with one unusual bead, a stone or simple button. Especially interestingly when the idea born is embodied in a head in a life. To me so much time was necessary to be surprised, how in beading are combined absolutely uncombined materials and colours.

What materials do you most enjoy working with?
I like to embroider with small beads to work with Czech beads and gemstones. As I use felt and textiles.

How did it come together?
I have seen a material with the image of fragments of pictures of Leonardo da Vinci. The monochrome image has helped me to choose colour scale. It has turned out frostily but with shine.

What inspired you to donate your bead(s) to Circle of Hope?

Cancer is very real and personal. I lost my loved ones, because of this illness. However, there are wonderful examples of people surviving this illness, in particular breast cancer. It is a difficult process to deal with alone, but it is becoming easier now with the world coming together to find a cure.
