Nearly any type of clasp, including magnetic clasps, can be attached to your jewelry with the use of a jumpring and crimp beads. Thread the crimp bead and jumpring at the end of your beads and then thread the wire back through your crimp bead and crimp it closed with crimping pliers.

The weight of your beading wire can be determined by the beads you are using. Designs using 4mm - 20mm beads can be made with the 0.019-inch Accu-Flex® beading wire as it is strong, durable and able to fit through most bead holes. If you are stringing smaller beads or pearls, the 0.014-inch or 0.012-inch Accu-Flex® beading wire is suitable in strength and has a finer diameter, suitable for passing through the smaller bead holes. If your design uses primarily larger gemstones, like nuggets, you may want the stronger 0.024-inch Accu-Flex.
