I'm trying to get flat back Swarovski crystals to adhere to a sterling silver charm. The crystals have adhesive backs that are supposed to melt when you heat them, but the tool I purchased isn't doing the job. So I thought I'd try a metal/glass adhesive. Will this work?

If your hot-fix tool isn't sufficiently melting the adhesive on your hot-fix crystals I would recommend two solutions. Make sure that the heating tool is reaching the maximum temperature and try leaving the tip of the tool on the crystal longer. If this still doesn't solve the problem I would have to suggest another hot-fix tool. The Hotfix applicator with a cord will generally be hotter than a battery operated version.
