Q.
What is the advantage of purchasing beads in strands? Can you add findings to the ends for quick necklaces, or is it to have a group of beads that are similar in color that can be disassembled and used in other projects? Thanks!

A.
The main advantage of buying beads that are on strands is to make it easy to visualize consistency in size, shape and color of the beads. It is not recommended to use the stringing material that the beads are temporarily strung on. The temporary stringing material is usually plastic or a light stringing material that is not meant to last. - Maura Buckner, Jewelry-Making Expert
