Q.
I really like your brass patina focal components. Having been a decorative artist for many years before making jewelry, I was wondering if you might suggest what type of paint I could use on them to customize them? I have both acrylic and oils. Or would the enamel paints work better? Thanks for your help - you guys are terrific!

A.
Enamel paint would be better than acrylic and oil options. You might be interested in Pebeo paints. These are available in both opaque and translucent options and give an enameled appearance after baking.

These components also take well to pigment ink used for rubber stamping and they can be coated with ICE Resin®, Mona Lisa™ Metal Leaf™ top coat sealant and/or Magic-Glos® top coat.
