Q.
I have round wooden beads in two sizes and paper beads 1" long. I want to make a collar necklace. I cannot figure out how to attach paper beads that are vertical to horizontally strung wooden beads.

Make beading links out of your paper beads using headpins or eyepins and a wrapped loop technique. Using a pair of round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a wrapped loop on each end of the wire, creating a beading link. This will give you a loop on one or both ends of the paper bead allowing you to vertically incorporate them into your horizontally beaded design.
