Multi-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Swarovski Crystal, Sterling Silver and Marcasite Beads and Ribbon

Necklace

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters cut the following lengths of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire:
  • One 12-1/2 inch length
  • One 14-inch length
  • One 15-1/2 inch length
  • One 17-inch length
Cut eight 1/2 inch lengths of sterling silver French wire.

Using scissors cut two 24-inch lengths of white satin ribbon.

First Strand

STEP 2
String onto one 12-1/2 inch length of beading wire one sterling silver 2x2mm crimp bead and one 1/2 inch length of French wire. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp bead. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the French wire, creating a loop, leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite®) inside the crimp (optional).

Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead. Using flush-cutters trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Place one sterling silver 4mm crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
STEP 3
String the following onto the beading wire:
  • Two Swarovski crystal clear 4mm round pearls
  • Three Swarovski creamrose light 4mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 4mm round
  • Two Swarovski creamrose light 4mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 4mm round
  • Three Swarovski creamrose light 4mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski platinum 6mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 6mm round
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 6mm round pearl
STEP 4
Continue to string the following:
  • First hole on one sterling silver and marcasite 24x5mm spacer bar
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 6mm round pearl
  • Two Swarovski creamrose light 8mm round pearl
  • One Dione® sterling silver and marcasite 10mm round
  • Two Swarovski creamrose light 10mm round pearl
  • Five Swarovski creamrose light 12mm round pearl
  • One Dione sterling silver and marcasite 10mm round
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 8mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski platinum 8mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 6mm round
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 6mm round pearl
  • First hole on second spacer bar
STEP 5
Repeat the stringing sequence in Step 3 in the opposite direction.

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.

Second Strand

STEP 6
Repeat Step 2 using one 14-inch length of beading wire.
STEP 7
String the following onto the beading wire:
  • Two Swarovski crystal clear 4mm round pearls
  • Two Swarovski creamrose light 4mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 4mm round
  • Four Swarovski creamrose light 4mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 4mm round
  • Two Swarovski creamrose light 4mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 6mm round
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 6mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 6mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 6mm round
STEP 8
Continue to string the following:
  • Second hole on the first spacer bar
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 6mm round pearl
  • Two Swarovski creamrose light 8mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski platinum 8mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 10mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 12x8mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 12mm round pearl
  • One Dione sterling silver and marcasite 15x14.5mm oval
  • Two Swarovski creamrose light 12mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski creamrose 10mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 12x8mm rondelle
  • Two Swarovski creamrose light 10mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 8x6mm rondelle
  • Two Swarovski creamrose light 8mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 6mm round pearl
  • Second hole on second spacer bar
STEP 9
Repeat the stringing sequence in Step 7 in the opposite direction.

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.

Third Strand

STEP 10
Repeat Step 2 using one 15-1/2 inch length of beading wire.
STEP 11
String the following onto the beading wire:
  • Two Swarovski crystal clear 4mm round pearls
  • Four Swarovski creamrose light 4mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 4mm round
  • Three Swarovski creamrose light 4mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 4mm round
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 4mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 6mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski platinum 6mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 6mm round
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 6mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski platinum 6mm round pearl
STEP 12
Continue to string the following:
  • Third hole on the first spacer bar
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 6mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski platinum 8mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 8x6mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 8mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski platinum 10mm round pearl
  • Four Swarovski creamrose light 10mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 12x8mm rondelle
  • Two Swarovski creamrose light 12mm round pearls
  • One Dione sterling silver and marcasite 15x14.5mm oval
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 12mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski platinum 12mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski creamrose 10mm round pearl
  • Two Swarovski creamrose light 8mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski platinum 6mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 6mm round pearl
  • Third hole of the second spacer bar
STEP 13
Repeat the stringing sequence in Step 11 in the opposite direction.

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.

Fourth Strand

STEP 14
Repeat Step 2 using one 17-inch length of beading wire.
STEP 15
String the following onto the beading wire:
  • Two Swarovski crystal clear 4mm round pearls
  • Five Swarovski creamrose light 4mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski platinum 4mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 4mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal clear 4mm round
  • Two Swarovski creamrose light 4mm round pearls
  • Repeat the following stringing sequence a total of two times
    • One Swarovski platinum 6mm round pearl
    • One Swarovski crystal clear 6mm round
    • One Swarovski creamrose light 6mm round pearl
STEP 16
Continue to string the following:
  • Fourth hole on the first spacer bar
  • Two Swarovski creamrose light 6mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 8mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski creamrose 10mm round pearl
  • Three Swarovski creamrose light 12mm round pearls
  • One Dione sterling silver and marcasite 15x14.5mm oval
  • Two Swarovski creamrose light 12mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski platinum 12mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 12mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski creamrose 10mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski platinum 10mm round pearl
  • Four Swarovski creamrose 10mm round pearls

STEP 17
Repeat the stringing sequence in Step 15 in the opposite direction.

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
STEP 18
Using a pair of chain-nose and flat-nose pliers open eight 4mm jumprings.
STEP 19
Pass one jumpring through the French wire loop on one end of the first strand and one 12mm jumpring. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach the end of each strand on the same side to the 12mm jumpring.

Repeat to attach each end on the opposite side of the necklace to a second 12mm jumpring.
STEP 20
Using scissors cut one end of one 24-inch length of satin ribbon, of your choice, at a 45-degree angle.

Tie the opposite end of the ribbon in an overhand knot around the 12mm jumpring attached to one end of the four strands. Arrange the knot so that it covers the 12mm jumpring and use E-6000® Jewelry and Craft Adhesive to glue in place. Repeat to attach a 24-inch length of satin ribbon to the 12mm jumpring on the opposite end of the strands.

Earrings

STEP 1
String onto one sterling silver 1-1/4 inch ball tip headpin one Swarovski creamrose light 10mm round pearl.

Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire creating a 10mm round pearl drop.
STEP 2
String the following onto one sterling silver 1-inch eyepin:
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 4mm round pearl
  • One sterling silver and marcasite 7mm round
  • One Swarovski creamrose light 4mm round pearl
Form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire creating a marcasite 7mm round link.
STEP 3
Using a pair of chain-nose and flat-nose pliers open one loop on the marcasite 7mm round link. Pass the loop through the loop on the 10mm round pearl drop. Close the loop.

Repeat to attach the opposite end of the marcasite 7mm round link to the loop on one sterling silver and marcasite earstud.
STEP 4
Repeat Steps 1 - 3 to create a second earring.
