Lashed Wrap Bracelet with Seed Beads, Wood Bead and Waxed Cotton Cord

STEP 1
Using scissors, cut one 60-inch length of turquoise blue cotton wax cord and one 100-inch length of beige twine.
STEP 2
Find the center of the 60-inch length of turquoise blue cotton cord and the 100-inch length of beige twine. Tie an overhand knot in the center of both cords. Fold the cords over creating four strands with the knot at the center.

Tape or pin the knot to your work surface.
STEP 3
The turquoise cords will run to the inside of the brown twine with the beads lined up to the center of the turquoise cords.
STEP 4
Bring the left hand brown twine around the turquoise cord from the back to the front. Pass the brown twine through one blue color-lined brown square seed bead from the left to the right. Make sure the brown twine exits behind the turquoise cord.

Bring the right hand brown cord around the turquoise from the back to the front. Pass the brown twine through the blue color-lined brown square seed bead from the right to the left in the opposite direction. Make sure the brown twine exits behind the turquoise cord. Pull the seed bead snugly up between the turquoise cords.
STEP 5
Repeat Step 4 to weave the following beads into the bracelet:
  • Forty-six blue color-lined brown square seed beads
  • Forty-six green color-lined yellow square seed beads
  • Forty-six clear color-lined gold square seed beads
STEP 6
Tie the ends of the turquoise cord and brown twine with one overhand knot to secure in place. Apply a small amount of adhesive to the knot for added security (optional). Separate out the brown twine.

Tie an overhand knot in the brown twine at the base of the larger knot. Apply a small amount of adhesive to the knot.

Tie an overhand knot in the turquoise cord 3/4 inches from the larger knot. Apply a small amount of adhesive to the knot.
STEP 7
Pass one silver-lined aqua seed bead, one 15mm wood rondelle bead and one 6x2.5mm rondelle crystal glass bead onto a headpin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers, form a 3mm loop next to the rondelle. Pass loop through the knot on the overhand knot on the first side of the bracelet. Finish the wire with a wrapped loop.
