Using a 2mm beading awl starting at one end of a 10-inch length of wire, tightly wrap the wire around the awl until you get to the end of the piece of wire, creating a 3/4 inch piece of French wire. Repeat to create six pieces of 3/4 inch pieces of copper French wire.
STEP 4
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 5mm jumpring. Pass it through one of the loops on the clasp. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach a 5mm jumpring to the other loop on the clasp.

Pull the crimp tight against the French wire and the jumpring so the French wire is formed in a nicely curved tube. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp.

Using crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using side-cutting pliers, trim the excess wire from the short end.
