Single-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Rubberized Acrylic Beads, Metal Beads, Czech Glass Druk Beads and Wire Wrap

Necklace

STEP 1
Using a pair of flush-cutters, cut eight 12-inch lengths and nine 4-inch lengths of gold-filled 22-gauge round dead-soft wire.
STEP 2
Using a pair of round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a wrapped loop on the straight end of a 4-inch length of gold-filled 22-gauge round dead-soft wire. String onto the wire one 6mm round dark green satin glass bead, one gold-filled 10mm round bead, and one 6mm round dark green satin glass bead . Finish the straight end of the wire with a wrapped loop. Use a pair of flush-cutters to cut any excess wire from the end. Repeat to create a total of nine gold-filled and dark green satin glass wrapped beading links.
STEP 3
Using a pair of round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a wrapped loop on the straight end of a 12-inch length of gold-filled 22-gauge round dead-soft wire. String onto the wire one sterling silver 5mm round bead, one sterling silver 8mm round bead, one 14mm round red rubber acrylic bead, one sterling silver 8mm round bead, and one sterling silver 5mm round bead. Finish the straight end of the wire with a wrapped loop. After forming the second wrapped loop, continue to loosely wrap the wire back around the outside of the five beads on the wire. Use a pair of flush-cutters to cut the wire leaving 1/4 inch on the end. Bend the wire and tuck it into the hole on the last sterling silver 5mm round bead. Repeat to create a total of eight sterling silver and red rubber acrylic wrapped beading links.
STEP 4
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 5.5mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on the first loop of a gold-filled and dark green satin glass beading link. Close the jumpring.
STEP 5
Continue connecting components in the following order with one 4mm jumpring in between each beading link:
  • One sterling silver and red rubber acrylic wrapped beading link
  • One gold-filled and dark green satin glass beading link
Repeat seven times for a total of eight sets.
STEP 6
Open the jumpring attached to the lobster claw clasp. Pass it through the loop on the last gold-filled and dark green satin glass beading link. Close the jumpring.

Earrings

STEP 1
Using a pair of flush-cutters, cut two 12-inch lengths of gold-filled 22-gauge round dead-soft wire.
STEP 2
String one gold-filled 4mm round bead, and one 6mm round dark green satin glass bead onto a 2-inch headpin. Using a pair of round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a wrapped loop on the straight end of the wire. Repeat to create a total of two gold-filled and dark green satin glass bead drops.
STEP 3
Using a pair of round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a wrapped loop on the straight end of a 12-inch length of gold-filled 22-gauge round dead-soft wire. String onto the wire one sterling silver 5mm round bead, one sterling silver 8mm round bead, one 14mm round red rubber acrylic bead, one sterling silver 8mm round bead, and one sterling silver 5mm round bead. Finish the straight end of the wire with a wrapped loop. After forming the second wrapped loop, continue to loosely wrap the wire back around the outside of the five beads on the wire. Use flush-cutters to cut the wire leaving 1/4 inch on the end. Bend the wire and tuck it into the hole on the last sterling silver 5mm round bead. Repeat to create a total of two sterling silver and red rubber acrylic wrapped beading links.
STEP 4
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 4mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on a gold-filled and dark green satin glass bead drop and the loop on a sterling silver and red rubber acrylic wrapped beading link. Close the jumpring.
STEP 5
Open the loop on a French hoop earwire. Pass it through the opposite loop on the sterling silver and red rubber acrylic wrapped beading link. Close the loop.
STEP 6
Repeat Steps 4 and 5 to create the second earring.
