Lariat-Style Necklace and Earring Set with Celestial Crystal® Beads and Antiqued Silver-Plated White Brass Cone Beads

Necklace

STEP 1
String one 4mm faceted round black crystal onto a 1-inch headpin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire. Repeate to create twelve 4mm faceted round black crystal bead drops.

Repeat Step 1 to create the following beading links using one bead and one 1-inch eyepin:
  • Forty-four 4mm faceted round black crystal beading links
  • Twenty-one 9x6mm faceted oval green crystal beading links
  • Forty 4mm faceted bicone green crystal beading links
  • Five 9x6mm faceted oval black crystal beading links
  • Twenty 12x6mm faceted double cone black crystal beading links
  • Twenty-four 12x6mm faceted double cone red crystal beading links
  • Ten 4mm faceted round red crystal beading links
STEP 2
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open the loop on a 4mm faceted round black crystal bead drop. Pass it through the 4mm faceted round red crystal beading link. Close the loop.
STEP 3
Repeat Step 2 to attach the following components:
  • One 4mm faceted bicone green crystal beading link
  • One 12x6mm faceted double cone black crystal beading link
  • One 4mm faceted round red crystal beading link
  • One 4mm faceted bicone green crystal beading link
Repeat Step 3 to create a total of 12 tassels using one 4mm faceted round black crystal bead drop, and five beading links in a random order alternating the 4mm beading links with the larger beading links.
STEP 4
Using a pair of flush-cutters, cut the loop off of a 2-inch eyepin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a 6mm round simple loop on the straight end of a 2-inch length of wire to create an eyepin. Repeat to create a total of two large loop 2-inch eyepins.
STEP 5
Open the loop on a 2-inch eyepin. Pass the loop through the top loop on six of the tassels created in Step 3. Close the loop.

Pass the straight end of the eyepin through one antiqued silver-plated bead cone and one 4mm faceted round black crystal. Finish the end of the wire with a simple loop.

Repeat Step 5 to create a second tassel on the second eyepin.
STEP 6
Open a 5mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on a tassel and the first loop on a 4mm faceted round red crystal. Close the jumpring. Repeat to create a chain of beading links with a 5mm jumpring in between each component alternating between a the 4mm beading links with the larger beading links.

Attach the last 4mm faceted round black crystal beading link to the loop on the second tassel.

Earrings

STEP 1
String one 4mm faceted round black crystal onto a 1-inch headpin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire, creating a total of twelve 4mm faceted round black crystal bead drops.

Repeat Step 1 to create the following using one bead and one 1-inch eyepin:
  • Nineteen 4mm faceted round black crystal beading links
  • Nine 9x6mm faceted oval green crystal beading links
  • Eleven 4mm faceted bicone green crystal beading links
  • Three 9x6mm faceted oval black crystal beading links
  • Six 12x6mm faceted double cone black crystal beading links
  • Six 12x6mm faceted double cone red crystal beading links
  • Eight 4mm faceted round red crystal beading links
STEP 2
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat nose pliers, open the loop on a 4mm faceted round black crystal bead drop. Pass it through the loop on a 9x6mm faceted oval black crystal beading link. Close the loop.
STEP 3
Repeat to attach the following components:
  • One 4mm faceted bicone green crystal beading link
  • One 12x6mm faceted double cone black crystal beading link
  • One 4mm faceted round red crystal beading link
  • One 4mm faceted bicone green crystal beading link
Repeat Step 3 to create a total of 12 tassels using one 4mm faceted round black crystal bead drop, and five beading links in a random order alternating the 4mm beading links with the larger beading links.
STEP 4
Using a pair of flush-cutters, cut the loop off of a 2-inch eyepin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a 6mm round simple loop on the straight end of a 2-inch length of wire to create a large loop eyepin. Repeat to create a total of two large loop 2-inch eyepins.
STEP 5
Open the loop on the 2-inch eyepin. Pass the loop through the top loop on six of the tassels created in Step 3. Close the loop.

Pass the straight end of the eyepin through one antiqued silver-plated bead cone and one 4mm faceted round black crystal. Finish the end of the wire with a simple loop.

Repeat Step 5 to create a second tassel on the second eyepin.
STEP 6
Open the loop on an earwire. Pass it through the loop on a tassel. Close the loop. Repeat to create the second earring.
