Single-Strand Necklace and Bracelet Set with Swarovski Crystal, Black Onyx Gemstone Beads and Gold-Plated Brass Beads and Chain

Necklace

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters, cut one 5-3/4 inch length, one 13-inch length and four 1-link lengths of gold-plated brass 21x14mm twisted oval chain.
STEP 2
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open the first link on the 5-3/4 inch length of chain and pass it through the center of a Swarovski jet 25mm disk component. Close the link.

Open a single link of chain. Pass it through the Swarovski jet 25mm disk component and a second Swarovski jet 25mm disk component. Close the link. Repeat to attach a third Swarovski jet 25mm disk component.

Open the first link on a 13-inch length of chain. Pass it through the third Swarovski jet 25mm disk component. Close the link.

Open the last link on the 13-inch length of chain. Pass it through a fourth Swarovski jet 25mm disk component.

Repeat to attach two additional Swarovski jet 25mm disk components using single links of chain.
STEP 3
Using the flush-cutters, cut one 14-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String onto the wire: one crimp tube, a gold-plated Accu-Guard™ wire protector and the loop on a lobster claw clasp. Pass the wire back through the crimp tube, leaving one end of the wire approximately 1-inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the Accu-Guard. Place a small amount of gel adhesive (Loctite®) inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim the excess wire from the short end.

Place a crimp cover over the crimp tube then gently close it.
STEP 4
String onto the beading wire the following components:
  • Twenty-six sets of one 6mm round black onyx bead and one gold-plated 4mm round stardust bead
  • One 6mm round black onyx bead
  • One crimp bead
  • Sixteen Swarovski jet AB 3mm bicones
STEP 5
Pass the end of the wire through the last Swarovski jet 25mm disk component from Step 2 and back through the crimp tube in the opposite direction. Pull the wire tight against the last bead creating a nicely curved loop of the bicones around the disk. Make sure there is no slack along the length of the necklace. Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the end.

Place a crimp cover over the crimp tube then gently close it.
STEP 6
Clasp the lobster claw clasp to the last link on the 5-3/4 inch length of chain.
