STEP 3
Use a drop of E-6000® Jewelry and Craft Adhesive, to attach seven Guinea feathers toward the bottom of the leather round, below the Swarovski chessboard flat back. Arrange the feathers in an overlapping pattern so that most of each feather hangs free off the edge.
STEP 4
Apply epoxy to the leather outlining the edge of the flat back and to the back of the 29-cup section of 2mm cupchain. Using a toothpick and tweezers arrange the cupchain around the edge of the flat back.

Necklace

STEP 1
Match one end of four 36-inch lengths of satin cord. Fold the cords over and match up the ends, creating eight strands. Using Chain-nose pliers open the loop on one gold-plated 3-inch eyepin. Pass the satin cords through the loop of the eyepin at the folded center. Close the loop.

Note: It may be necessary to use round-nose pliers to enlarge the loop of the eyepin to accommodate all four strands.

String onto the straight end of the eyepin one gold-plated 27x9mm cone (covering the loop and satin cord) and one gold-plated 2.5mm round bead. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush cutters form a wrapped loop on the straight end of the wire.
STEP 2
Using the 8-inch length of thread, tightly wrap the opposite ends of the satin cord together and tie the thread using two overhand knots. Place a small amount of adhesive on the knot to secure.

Pass the loop on one 3-inch eyepin through the wrapped end of the silk cord. String onto the straight end of the eyepin one gold-plated 27x9mm cone (covering the loop and satin cord) and one gold-plated 2.5mm round bead. Form a wrapped loop on the straight end of the wire.
STEP 3
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 4mm jumpring. Pass the jumpring through the loop on the bar portion of a toggle clasp and the wrapped loop on one end of the necklace. Close the jumpring.
STEP 4
String the pendant onto the opposite end of the necklace, then repeat Step 3 to attach the ring portion of the toggle clasp.
