Bracelet with Viking Knit Wirework, Glass Beads and Metal Beads and Charms

STEP 1
Following the directions in the Viking Knit set, using magenta 18-gauge round aluminum wire, weave a 4-inch section of wire tubing drawing the finished wire to approximately 3/8 inch in diameter.
STEP 2
Using the flush-cutters, cut an 11-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String onto the wire one crimp tube, a gold-plated Accu-Guard™ wire protector and the loop on the ring portion of the toggle clasp. Pass the wire back through the crimp tube, leaving one end of the wire approximately 1-inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the Accu-Guard. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite®) inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim the excess wire from the short end.

Repeat to attach a second 11-inch length of beading wire to the ring portion of the toggle clasp.

Place a crimp cover over both crimp tubes.
STEP 3
String the following components onto both beading wires:
  • One gold-plated 4x3mm rondelle bead
  • One gold-plated 10x3mm rondelle kaleidoscope bead
  • One gold-plated 12mm round brushed bead
  • One gold-plated 10x3mm rondelle kaleidoscope bead

  • One gold-finished 10x6mm butterfly bead
  • One gold-plated 4x3mm rondelle bead
  • One 6mm faceted round pink bead
STEP 4
Separate out the beading wires. String on one crimp tube, a gold plated Accu-Guard and loop on the bar portion of the toggle clasp onto the first wire. Pass the wire back through the crimp tube, pulling the wire tight against the last bead. Make sure there is no slack along the length of the bracelet. Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the end.

Repeat to attach the second beading wire to the bar portion of the toggle clasp.

Place a crimp cover over both crimp tubes.
STEP 5
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 6mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on the tree of life charm and the ring of the toggle clasp. Close the jumpring.
